Thank you everyone for the compliments! And yes, it took quite a while. Even though this is a newer release kit, there was a huge amount of flash, and warpage to deal with!

Project Terminator

Awesome, looks great. Glad I was able to be a part of this build! -
Finished this one tonight after work. Still might add a few small decals and lights along the way, but for now it's on the shelf. Added Moebius rims and tires, battery box mudflaps, Italeri Mack Superliner horns, 3D printed swan hood ornament, and decals from various AMT kits. Definitely was a challenge, but I love the way it looks!

I've built all of them a few times. The worst of the bunch is the dm600. From tons of fitment issues, to horrible instructions, I would avoid it. The general is straight forward. Just a little challenging with the frame steps, and hood hinges. The diamond reo is easy. I haven't come across any major challenges with them yet!

Looks fantastic! But one critique, the steps are on the wrong side of the cab. They need to be flipped!

I'm not sure if you're talking about the 5 marker hole light slots, or the 4 holes for the air horns? -

Thanks guys! And no trailer for 2 reasons. 1 I don't have the skill to do it, and 2 I don't have a lot of room lol -

Alright it's done and in the under glass section! -
After waiting for quite a few months, I finally got it finished today! The list of modifications is real long, but here are the few main ones. Fully scratch built bed, mudflaps, exhaust system, door sills, mirror assembly, and interior pieces. Moebius super singles and floats. Bed tools are a variety of resin, and kit pieces. The doors have been cut open and I detailed the interior as much as I could. I'm very pleased this build is done! Just waiting on a few small decals to arrive from a buddy, and itll officially be done. Onto the next one!

Finally made more progress on this project. Doors installed, interior complete, most of the frame finished. Just need to make side windows, install the door panels/sills, and get all the cab accessories and bed installed. Making great progress but still a long ways away -

Thank you! It's testors deja blue. One of my favorite colors I carefully used the back of an xacto knife. It took time but the results were fantastic. Well worth it Here's a closer picture of the cab and 90% complete engine. I should be able to start building the frame this week -

Finally got in my round 2 replacement parts last week. And I had a quick break after I got home from work today to paint the truck. All the parts are painted and currently drying. In a few days I should finally start assembling this beast! Here's a quick teaser of the cab color I chose -

Not much updates on this one yet, finally got my door hinges in the mail, but still waiting for the round 2 replacement parts to get this build into paint! Until then, I started a new project that I won't reveal until it's completed! There will be some more progress pics in the near future... -

I've had many dozers in my collection, but never built one. I plan to eventually. I'm going to follow this build! So far so good -
Here's an old one from last year I did, that I never posted here. Started with a parts box special original release gmc astro and some parts from a mack dm600/800 parts box. Mixed them both and came up with this concoction! Mack maxidyne engine swap, mack mudflaps, and mirrors. Plus other odds and ends from my parts bins!

Thank you everyone!! And yes Bill, that's where it goes per the instructions -
Just finished tonight. Did it while waiting for parts to arrive for my mobile home toter build. Mods as follows: Italeri FLC Cummins engine swap, White Freightliner fuel tanks, and rims/tires. New exhaust tips, rear mudflap/taillight bar, and a mercury sleeper. Plus some other small odds and ends. I also did realize I forgot the battery box so that will be added shortly lol. Enjoy!

Thanks guys! And yes, those are super singles on the rear! Some minor progress done today. A.c. unit made up, along with the bed tool boxes sanded and glued in. And I completely didn't realize this either, I needed to make filler panels for the cab and interior! So I got them all done up now. Next up on the list for the near future is making the extendable mirror bar for the front. -

Little more done. Bed sides cut and glued, once dry I'll sand and putty if needed. Also decided to add a self inflating air system on the rears. Moving right along!
