  1. Finished up tonight. It's not my best work, but it did turn out really really nice I must say! As usual, comments welcome. Here's what's done to it: Testors paints, 3d printed exhaust stack and rims, rubber mudflaps, custom decal work. Rest is pretty much box stock!
  2. As promised, here are the final product pictures! Fenders added, and now it's back on the shelf and 100%
  3. Thanks guys? I love this mash up, old school mashed with a new school rig!
  4. Just finished this one up, we'll 99.9% finished. Waiting for the rear fenders to arrive this coming week, then I'll post updated pictures. But as of now, it's good enough to show here! Started with the Italeri Peterbilt 377 iron rebel kit. Swapped the kit sleeper out for an AMT Mercury sleeper. Added 3d printed rear drive hubs, hood ornament, exhaust stacks, mudflap brackets, and cab panels. Custom made decals, and other little odds and ends!
  5. Oops yep you're right, slip up on my end without thinking lol Also great progress on this project so far gotnitro? !
  6. The dt466 and the 7.3 are identical engines! One is just labeled as a Powerstroke, and the other an International, but, both are the same engine. As for the casting, someone does make it. I have one in my stash actually. The name/caster "backyard resin" sounds familiar to me?
  7. Wow thank you guys! As requested, here are the rest. Hopefully I didn't miss any. Enjoy!
  8. I can't post all of them in here, but I've got #25 builds completed for 2022. And I currently have 5 in progress!
  9. #24, My final build for 2022. This "unsnappified" snap kit Revell Peterbilt 359. I tried to change a lot of things on it to make it look less toy like. I'm super pleased with how it came out! Here's the list of mods done to it in no order: Italeri Cummins swap(painted like an N14 red top), AMT International Transtar 4300 steer rims, GMC Astro rear spokes, 3d printed hood ornament, exhaust stacks and whale tail, real rubber mudflaps, AMT 5th wheel, various decals from many kits, new seats and steering wheel, AMT 359 headlights and a.c. unit, reworked the passenger side sleeper to eliminate the door, and some other little odds and ends! Enjoy! Oh and yes, I did even out the driver side drooping antenna after the pictures lol
  10. Just finished this up tonight. It is my first ever commission build. Did it for a buddy of mine back up in New York. He saw a picture of the first one I built 5 years ago(last 3 pictures), and has always wanted it ever since. So last month I told him I'll build him a brand new better looking one and he agreed. So now, it's finally done! Painted Testors Rootbeer brown. Only a few slight changes done to it. Scratchbuilt exhaust, rear hub covers, rubber mudflaps, and a deckplate. The daycab panel is the kit sleeper crawlthrough that I modified.
  11. I'm glad I could influence you! That's awesome to see. Thank you!
  12. I love this project, looks fantastic. Exactly what I used to see up north when I lived there! As for the color combination, I think you're talking about my Peterbilt 378 I did?
  13. Thank you, much appreciated! STS is great, definitely my go to for custom decals. What are your plans with that spare 60 series? Message me if you'd let it go!
  14. One of my favorite trucks, and kits, of all time! I'm following. Looking forward to that swap as well. For custom decals, I use STS scale model decals. Great stuff there.
  15. I'm happy I could help you out with this one! Can't wait to see what you come up with
  16. I started this build on Thursday evening, and just finished it tonight. This kit was a struggle for sure. Ill fitting parts, flash, and lots of warpage that I discovered too late in the build process. But, it's done and on the shelf. Not many modifications here besides the rear rim covers, and various decals from a few kits. Enjoy!
  17. Thanks guys! And no the frame isn't stretched at all! That's how it was right out of the box. As for the bumper, it's in the proper mounting location. It does look low though now that you mention it..
  18. That looks great buddy, glad to see you're still at it!
  19. Quick little 2 weekend build I wrapped up earlier today! Didn't want to do much to this one besides a nice paint job, and a few other little details. The list of mods is as follows in no order: chrome pinstripe tape is cut to size from aluminum duct tape, 3d printed rear rims, styrene tubing exhaust tips, license plate holder from the parts bin, styrene sheet mudflaps all around, Italeri 5th wheel assembly. Simple and easy build. Enjoy!
  20. I'm overwhelmed by all this feedback, thanks guys! Now that I know it was easy, I'll have to do it again one day lol
  21. Thanks guys! I'm surprised that engine fit in there as well. No shaving, sanding, or trimming of the frame, interior tub, or anything. Engine fit right in there with 0 issues!
  22. Just wrapped this one up today. Parts box special build here. The list of things done to it is as follows, in no particular order: custom made 16v72 Detroit using 2 kit engines and parts bashed together, intake piping is from the parts bin. Rear rims and tires from the double header pup trailer kits, frame cross members from the AMT Mack R model, White Freightliner 1/4 rear fenders and modified sun visor, 3d printed drive hubs, and a whole bunch of other little odds and ends to list off. This build was great, and the engine swap was even better. Enjoy!
