  1. The earlier International Scouts were kind of cool too. Maybe a 3D resin producer could do a body and roof that would work with the AMT kits to build something like this.
  2. I don't know how I resisted buing one of these for so long. Like any model, they look great with any Fireball tires.
  3. My amt off road International scout arrives this afternoon. I can't believe I went this long without picking both if these up. Used to surf with a guy who had one back when he lived in San Diego. These were what you went off roading with before there were all these rock crawling buggies and the like.
  4. Mods. Please move this thread to Car kit reviews.
  5. Did you visit the Automotive museum up the fiil from Hersey Park. Pretty cool.
  6. Urge Overkill Maxwells 9/10/93. First year I got to see these guys. Back int thir heyday. ?
  7. I can dream, can't I. Actual bike I had back in the early 80s. Shame I never took any pics of it. 1983 Yamaha IT 175. It was the first "big ticket item" I ever bought that required a payment book. Bought it as a leftover from the previous year. Never should have sold it. These are becoming popular again today. I would have gone with the bigger bore bike, but it was out of my price range.
  8. I had the an erler version of this van kit many years ago. I thought I would get another whack at this one seeing as I never finished the original.
  9. 1968 Fairlane fastback. Small block V8 with a 3 on the tree. Kind of cool looking but a real dog. Bought it off of my cousin $100. sold it for $200 months later. no pics of it but it looked sort of like this. A little more pale green.
  10. It looks like I can get it to work with a couple of Styrene strips and some fancy footwork (body work). Gotta go with the vintage look.
  11. Thats what I'm hoping. it should, but I'll let you know.
  12. They conveniently lost all documentation of the transaction.
  13. Stopped off at HL (40% off week) this morning and picked up a few kits for some projects I have on the back burner. Need some parts on both. My vintage Dodge van grill was in the mailbox this morning along with some bucket seats from ebay. Even stopped by the barbershop and got in a fresh haircut.
  14. Coming up on 2 for me. Paypal couldn't help me, so I wound up buying one from another board member.
  15. 1973 F-250 Custom (without the extra trim) 4x4.
  16. Ever Fallen in Love? - Fine Young Cannibals. Buzzcocks cover.
  17. Also, Got the Tutlewax van last week (got a vintage grill coming) and the AMT Peterbuilt 377 A/E just now from eBay. Seller offered me a discount, so I took it. The Tooling is borrowed from the old Italari kits, so these are pretty nick.
  18. Got my order from Texas 3D customs. 5 sets of the Super swamper Boggers and some Center Line Baja bug wheels and modern winch bumpers. The tires seemed a little tacky so I'll let them Gass off a few days before I give them the wethering treatment.
