A good trick on the warped top is to heat it with an ordinary hairdryer. If that wont work, PM me. I have 2 extra ones. -
Site still says $150.

I've been going a little Jeep crazy these past few months. This CJ5 will look nice with these boggers. -

My vintage jeep commando kit came today with bothe roofs, all the glass and snowplow. I'm probably not going to be using thr plow, so if anybody needs one send me a PM. That color looks interesting but still thinking of some kind of orange. Also, my resin pickup truck tool boxes.

I think it's about time for MPC to re=issue this camper kit. Look how much they are going for. https://www.ebay.com/itm/374868164201?hash=item5747e23e69:g:6qkAAOSweIJk0wyr&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwPtkDby00LL%2FegKtPZRiOAHRFZfEQk3EOHKcyX%2FdRa%2Fjq1euLM70dkA4VBdmEG7N%2FrtxM27wj8cbWePmduMo3kY2QQYTBEHMx56gp5A1RKUPwaMslzcOAi8HfD20sJvH62TqE13QzYDtvwRIFWgQXjrxC5mUozXgdKlNU13DS8LBwIt0RWRUt438RCgOIelExQPCAO88H4JB9XUnLfPaWOm5GWFdfB5iBRaB1Xl%2FcMkcOObAX1aib07S1TfBX0nZxw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR87XhsC7Yg

Not the first time I heard a story like that. Today, they are highly collectable. I remember an article on them in a really old Off-Road magazine when I was a kid. I thought it was beyond cool. And it was on a Squarebody Blazer. ? -

I gave up on them. Every time I tried to order them, I the site said they didn't have any more. I would check back a few times a week and still nothing. Then there was all this talk about them changing hands or something. I wound up ordering another MPC CJ7 kit. They give you 5 and the newer tooling looks slightly bigger and wider or something. -
You can say all the derogatory things you want about the Bee Gees and the horrible disco era stuff they did (I can almost excuse them because it made them all rich). the truth is, in the early days they were 3 great and gifted songwriters. I remember hearing songs like this on AM radio as a kid, years before I ever had any failed loves under my belt. I'm glad we had a chance to enjoy them while they were still with us. R.I.P. Robin and Maruice.

Looks nice so far Johnathan. Are those racks still available? They remind me of the old Aloha hard racks I once had on my old 4 door '72 Plymouth valiant. I think they were made by Surfco co. -

Always been a big fan of the Lucerne Blue. Great job on the wheels/tires. The blue int. is nice too. Paint the intake manifold raw aluminum and its a Ram Air 4. These were said to be screamers. ? -

Now that Modelhaus is no more, the time to make the old (smaller) Formula Desert Dog tires is here. What would sweeten the deal is make them slightly bigger (but still not 1/20) but still make them to fit 1/25 wheels and mket them just as easy to make the lettering white. To me, these tires represent the dawn of the whole off-roading movement.
