Hi guys and girls the street beater is finished, I think it was one of the most fun models I have ever put together, not perfect but I really enjoyed every minute. There are plenty of pictures as always all comments welcome.

Thanks David, I agree Jim I used to have a 1967, 68 Firebird all my friends had Nova's, Mustangs and Camaros from the 1960's and early 70's.
-
Thanks Jim they came from the the old pro nova kit.

Nice idea with the flashing.

Thanks Jim go for it, Thanks Michael, the carpet was done with the stuff they call fuzzy fur or flocking I used diluted white glue to hold it down, mine was black so after it dried I painted it the interior color and weathered it with a grimy wash., if you do this on a nice model be neat about not like I did here, I made a mess of it on purpose. The taped window was made with one of those very cheap sandwich bags and the duck tape was made using Tamiya masking tape colored with a silver Sharpie.

Great work on that interior and lots of nice details to the engine.

A little update, I just had to see what it would look like on it's wheels, I think I like it. Put in a few shots of the interior still working on that, still more to do. As always all comments welcome. I already have my next build in my mind AMT Mercury Capri 2, it will not be a beater more like a high level street pro touring car, at least that is the plan.
