  1. Beautiful work on your caddy, I wish one of the big companies would make one of these.
  2. Sounds like you had a lot of trouble with this kit, well you can't tell by looking it, looks really good.
  3. Nice work on that interior Jim looking real good.
  4. A very very small update, this is a picture of the timing cover in progress on the mill for the front of the engine, I think this will work pretty well and it is only about 50% done I need a different size milling bit to finish it which I do not have, I have ordered the correct size from eBay should be here around Thursday. To be honest this is the third attempt at this part I messed up the other 2, lol. All comments welcome.
  5. Nice clean build looks very nice.
  6. Great work on your Dodge, the weathering is perfect.
  7. Nice finish on your 65, you did a lot of work on the model and it came out good.
  8. Thanks Lei for your comment.
  9. Once again great work on your engine details.
  10. Coming along nice David looks like you are almost done, these old kits some times have little surprises for us like the the glass interference with the trunk.
  11. Thanks for your comment Sonny, you are correct the kit included an engine just not a very good one, I should have put it in the pictures also. I also wanted to see if I could produce a decent scratch built engine but not a direct copy of the original v6. Wish me luck I will need it.
  12. Thanks Ulf, Thanks John it will be interesting to see if I can pull it off and make it look at least half decent lol.
  13. Starting a new build the AMT capr2, for those who don't know much about this kit I took a picture of the box top. I am going to start with the engine it is a v6, I am trying to machine it from scratch ( we will see how that works out) the second pic shows the scrap piece of aluminum in the mill yes I started with a round piece, I always keep off cuts for later use. The engine block is about 85% done all comments welcome.
  14. Thanks Stuart.
