  3. Started with the AMT Falcon. Located a Trumpeteer Falcon chassis and interior. Modified them to fit the altered wheelbase. The rear axle and traction bars are from the Revell Thunderbolt and the engine if from the Moebius Comet. I narrowed the kit intake to fit the Moebius motor and the injector stacks are from Speed City Resins. I removed the side and trunk moldings and filled in the space for the parachute in the trunk. Paint is Tamiya acrylics I mixed to what I thought looked right with Ts13 clear on top. The decasl are the kit deals with others from various ones I had from other projects. Not 100% accurate but much better than the original Amt chassis. Thanks for looking.
  4. Nice job. Looks good.
  5. I have found if I put a toothpick in the jar of paint I have just decanted it seems to help the gassing out go a little quicker. You can see the paint start to bubble around the toothpick.

  14. Thanks. That is a cool pic.
  15. One thing I missed. I didn't clear the wheels, just paint. Not sure if it makes a difference on the gloss of them or not.
  16. Thank you. The wheels are just painted with the same paint as the body. The axles in the rear and hubs in the font were painted with Tamiya metallic grey and the lug nuts were painted with Model Master steel.
  17. Thank you. I'm glad you like it. It is a great body. Is there any other way to do a Willys?? I can understand the work involved with making the master. I used to do resin casting. Mostly HO scale slot car bodies. I don't think anyone that hasn't done it can appreciate the time involved to make a quality piece.
  18. Thank you. Not real fond of the AMT body myself.
  19. Thanks

  25. An older build. Drag City Castings body with the AMT chassis. The motor is from the AMT 40 Willys with Competition Resins blower, injectors, and scoop. It was painted with Tamiya acrylic red with Future as a clear coat. The decals are Slixx. Thanks for looking.
