Jon check out www.modelhaus.com they make a 57 Ford F100 and also make a 57 Mercury pickup. I have both and they are great models. Also I think Star Models has a 1960 F100 made by Hendrix. I also have this kit. It is a reproduction of the old AMT annual from 1960. It looks to be a pretty good kit. Hope this helps Ron@ScaleSpeedShop

I have the ModelMartin version that I bought in Kansas City a few years ago. I plan on building a unchopped vintage Rod using many of the rod parts found in AMT's 25 T kits.

emodelcars.com update
ScaleSpeedShop replied to crispy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I used to sell quite a bit on FeeBay. But it has gotten to the point the sellers have no protecton, and are charged an arm and a leg in sellers fees then are forced to accept paypal. What a crock. I have a Emodelcars account but haven't used it yet. I just wish it had more traffic but I guess that is partly my fault. -

I sure wish I had it. I have an old built up that needs restored. Someday I will find all the parts to restore it. -
I would not send anymore money to them than you can afford to possibly lose. I have heard that they have been extremly slow in filling orders, sometimes 1 year or more. Their website states that Duane has expierenced some medical problems the last few years.

I recently aquired a builtup of a MPC slingshot fiat dragster. The chassis is trashed on it. Did this kit share a chassis with any other MPC dragster kit that would be fairly easy to find? I thought it was the same as the Jawbreaker but it's chassis is a couple of inches shorter. Thanks for your help Ron @ ScaleSpeedShop

Thanks Fellas. I will have to think about this one for a while before I decide which direction to take with this project. It would be nice if Modelhaus did make one. I have his 55, 56, 57, and 59 Chevy Sedan Delivery kits and they are excellant. I thought about ordering an extra 59 kit from him and combining it with Revells 60 hardtop. That may be the best direction to take. Ron

I haven't counted mine lately, but the last time I did I had 1200+ so I would guess well over 1300. Thats not counting parts kits, builts up I bought to restore or my large resin stash. And no I will never get them all built.

I really don't think that it is in all that bad of shape other than the busted up windshield frame/ cowling. The side trim appears to be intact and it doesn't have all that 1960's custom ###### glued to it. I say give it a dip in the purple pond, throw some Modelhaus restoration parts at it and bring it back to life.

Gonna have to add that body to my need to buy list. It's cool.

Lyle You didn't happen to make a mold of the grille? I sure would like to see that offered.

AMT 25 T Double kit review with pics
ScaleSpeedShop replied to Mr. Metallic's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
First off I'm very glad to have this kit back at an affordable price and in white plastic. I just got mine today. I'm very pleased with many aspects of the kit but a little disappointed that the mag wheels and original backing plates have been retooled. Did the original 1962 issue have the mags or steel wheels(or both)? But overall I think that AMT has hit another home run and deserves 2 thumbs up. -

I saw someone on Ebay selling resin 1932 Ford Roadster pickup kits. I don't remember the sellers name but I was wondering if anyone has bought one? If someone has, how is the quaility of the casting? -
