  1. Filming your models in a unique way is as simple as using your camera and as complex as using your imagination.
  2. Treat others the way that you want them to treat you.
  3. Evil deeds are never punished, yet good deeds always are, and that makes one wonder.
  4. Ironically a bunch of stupid little things kept happening at work that set me off. And it all led up to this. It has left me completely drained. I'm hoping to just cruise through work next week because I'm taking two weeks off after.
  5. The horizon outside my window is a view I'll never get tired of seeing, considering where I live.
  6. Someone tried to hack my debit card. I tried to order something online only to find out that my card was declined. I thought that at first it was because I was in a hurry and that I had mistyped the wrong info. I was on break at work and was trying to finish before I had to clock back in. Then when I was getting a sandwich for lunch, the same thing happened. Thankfully I had cash for that. But a call to my bank revealed that some idiot in Florida tried hack my card info and it caused my bank to lock the card resulting me having to get a new one. "Our lives suck. Let's ruin somebody else's by hacking their accounts and running up a huge debt for them. They're strangers, so what about consequences?" Really? Like they don't have anything better to do with their time?! This also happened to me before some years ago.
  7. Thanks for the comments, guys. Thatz4u, I've had problems before, but never this bad. Kah puts, the color is Rustoleum Hunter Green inside and out. I also have Dark Hunter Green and I plan to use them for future projects. And those pics are the best angles. 😁
  8. Hello, everyone. I finally managed to finish this one today after several months of constant problems whether through my own doing or because of the kit itself. I had built one of these before in the same style. Unfortunately, that truck had found out about gravity and couldn't be salvaged. I was able to save only the tires, the exhaust headers, and the seat belts. I soon got another pickup and began building it to be like it's predecessor. Among the problems I encountered were: having to rebuild a new chassis due a heavy object smashing the first one, replacing the dashboard with one from the Revell 1929 Model A because I tried to modify the '34 by cutting out the old gauge panel for the custom panel only to slice the dash in two, and ruining the paint trying to remove glue marks after everything was together. Still, getting it finished was the main goal and a shelf model it will remain.
  9. There is one thing that kept nagging at the back of my mind. I use rattle cans for my projects. Rustoleum, Testors, etc. What would be a good primer to use on this? I've heard of problems happening and I don't want any surprises while I'm working on this.
  10. Out of curiosity I test-fitted the 428 in the '66 with the interior, body, and chassis and the engine will not only fit, but I'll have no clearance issues. I found one of those engines online plan to order it. Also, due to overall looks the rest of the build will be like this. I'll be using the resin body without the upper quarter vents or the lower valence lights. The interior will get the full treatment without the nitrous setup. And the chassis will have the resin wheels without the knock offs.
  11. I did some research on the life-sized '66 Mustangs. It turns out that the biggest engine size that will fit is no more than 350ci. I'm either going to use the engine in the kit or see what 1/25 scale engine can be used.
  12. My original plan was to use just the front clip and hood for the '67. I was going to section the center of the front clip and shave the sides of the hood and trim and shape any areas to fit the body. What stopped me was how the overall look would be and if I would be able to modify the photo-etched grills to fit. The '66 that will fit is at Hobby Lobby. And, if I can shoehorn in the engine from a '70 Boss 429 Mustang that I saw online into the '66, it will be quite the build. If not then the stock 289 dressed up will suffice. As for the '67, it will have the engine from the AMT '68 Shelby along with the hood from the '67 Shelby. And I'm going to cut out the lower grill from that Shelby and splice it into the Mustang's front clip with a scratch-built chin spoiler. I can't go wrong with two custom Mustangs. 😉
  13. It is for the Revell Mustangs. I've got both the AMT'67 GT and Shelby Mustangs and I was able to mock up the frame and door panels for a test fit. The resin body is a one-piece and the AMT is too small. The only Revell 1/24 that I know of is the '66 Shelby Hertz version.
  14. A while back I posted about getting a resin kit of Eleanor to build a custom 1967 Mustang. It just came in the mail. I was going to use the front clip and hood to go along with this. The resin kit is 1/24 scale. The Mustang is 1/25.I figured I could do one of two things. Modify the front end to fit the Mustang or get a 1/24 scale Mustang and go from there. One way or another it's going to be done.
  15. That Charger looks pretty slick, D.W. Did you use Duplicolor primer or a different brand?
  16. Any of the Yenko Camaro colors are pretty nice. But I'll agree that the Daytona Yellow is definitely at the top of the list. I've got a spray can that's hopefully close enough. I actually saw a can of Daytona Yellow at an automotive store but unfortunately it was a ceramic for engines. And I don't want to destroy this car.
  17. They are. The yellow car is an original release and is showing it's age. The FNF car is newer and has a more extensive decal sheet. The yellow car is also the first muscle car I built when it was released.
  18. I got this in the mail this week. I plan on using some parts for this. The original kit had pitted chrome, scratched up clear parts, and yellowed decals. The parts list will be like this. Engine: original kit except for the valve covers. Chassis: original kit except for the wheels and tires. The tires will be the Firestone wide ovals from the Revell 1970 Firebird. Interior: original. Body: new. I also still have a decent original decal sheet so I will be combining them. I also now have a spare 427 engine. The 302 that was originally going to go into my custom black Camaro is built, though. Decisions, decisions. 🤔😄

  20. Golden rule number one, treat others the way you wish to be treated.
  21. I shared a post in the "What irked you" section about my diabetes. Well, my weight was at a plateau but I didn't give up my regimen. Through it all I'm pleased to say that, although slowly, my weight is going down.
  22. Costs are something to consider when buying a new model kit.
  23. Used car salesmen have gotten a bad reputation, well, most of them.
