So not really a 327 exclusively but yes I will, not sure when I will get to it though. I am working on some ITB intakes for the SBC right now.
-
I was going to do the bumpers, and engine cradle, but what are nerf bars?
-
So after pulling my kit out and yes its the California Wheels version, its going to be a little bit more involved, there will need to be some chassis trimming as the chassis rests on the bottom of the side rockers. but still doable.
-
Yes, the concept I am trying to achieve is that as many parts from the kit as possible will still be used, everything but the body and bumper. So the glass headlights turn markers interior... Will still be used.
-
The body will be made for the Revell 85-4192 ’68 Volkswagen Beetle

My name is Charles as well he was talking to me, but I need to know the interest level. But if I do it it's based on this.
-
I could do this and offer it on my SBC
-
I have a Revell kit unbuilt I also have a 3D scanner, see where I am going here?

Aluminum & Pewter 1/25 Scale Engines

I am sure he's making money but not for the time spent. I would rather spend time with my family than the time it would take to make one of those. If it's all cast then I guess not as much time as machined but still your figuring probably an hour or two work all said and done for maybe 5-10 bucks profit. Sorry but my time is worth more than minimum wage. -
Completely clear resin parts is possible but not really feasible for what you are after. People have made telescope optics on resin printers, but a lot of polishing was needed and the clear resin used was not your run of the mill resin.

Mid 80's Grill for AMT Chevy Vans
Texas_3D_Customs replied to Oldmopars's topic in Truck Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Here it is I put the lenses in one side for illustration but it will come unassembled obviously. The grill is open to the back like a real truck so keep this in mind. -

I will be making these and running test prints this weekend. Sorry for the long delay, but I did just get back from Colorado on vacation and between my full time orders and kids I haven't had time to print them. I also am trying to decide on how to actually split the file up. -
