  1. It's all good I was just confused my payout is approximately the same either way, just in eBay more of the money goes to the state and eBay. I will say the advantage of eBay is the protection you get from them. You still have PayPal and Credit Card buyer protection on my website, but eBay will usually side with the customer reguadless of the circumstances. I am generally pretty forgiving and will always make things right in either platform. I even had a guy buy off my site list a part contacted me 6 months later I still sent him a new one free of charge.
  2. His designs are very good, but I think my 572 albeit I don't have that intake is more detailed and more accurate.
  3. I could mate the Mendeola Transaxle I make for the GM line to fit the Modular bolt pattern, I just didn't think it was a desired combo.
  4. I was in 215 not a full review of everything I make but it was a good review/article
  5. I think you have your numbers backwards as 1:24 should be larger, now my 5.0's are referenced to my actual Coyote in my mudstain, but those numbers sound about right.
  6. Would be better to buy on my website tx3dcustoms.com better prices no tax outside of Texas
  7. I use some of his models, but they are not quite right, I spend quite a bit of time fixing them, now it might print fine as is but good enough is not good enough for me. My Coyote comes with a TR6060 as a T56 seems inappropriate, I am also working on the ZF autobox for it, the Ford tranny is just a ZF 6/8hp with a larger input shaft.
  8. Why would you want to go through eBay? The price is higher and there's no sales tax on my website except for Texans. I mean it will go to eBay eventually all engines do, but $27.50+tax on eBay $25 flat on my website, I am confused.
  9. You won't see the layer lines especially if you primer first but even that's not needed, but as far as criticism I am fair game to suggestions and critiques. There's a caveat here while I always listen I don't always go with what someone thinks is a good idea, because what seems like a good idea isn't always a good idea in reality. But I do always take it into consideration.
  10. Those aren't my prints, those are from the designer here are my prints.
  11. Did you model tires for them? If not Perhaps we can collaborate on tires I can make for them
  12. I am not sure what looks rough on my parts but perhaps some insight as to what you're talking about. As far as layer lines, they are there but very minimal, and for support scars I have some of the smallest supports if not the smallest. This is inherently the way things are with resin 3D printing and every print will have them, the difference between makers is how small they are and where you place them. I run very small supports and always put them in the most inconspicuous place possible.
  13. I am not the designer but I have an agreement with the designer. All of my files that are solely my designs I don't sell for personal use because if this issue, and the ones that I modify paid models I keep the mods mine as well. I will continue to do business as usual and if nothing else my quality and practices will keep me from worrying about it too much. But if a file is marked for personal use only that's what it is, even if it's not I try to make contact with the designer to establish what I am using it for.
  14. So I am sure I will get flamed for this but I don't care as I am going to put this out there, do what you want with this information. Jay has been selling unlicensed copies of prints he doesn't have the rights to sell, both a designer and I have sent messages for him to cease and desist without a response. The prices are descent on wheels and his engines are definitely budget freindly but when you sell designs without permission that's not cool in my book.
  15. Well they aren't on eBay just my website for now
  16. So yeah that's an issue with time and cost. Rubber resin is really expensive, I could do 1:12 and 1:16 scale tires but price wise I am not sure how feasible it would be, and another caveat would be I wouldn't do drag radials at that size. People complain about $30 a set for 1:24 drag wheels, 1:12 is 8 times the volume of 1:24 so there's that.
  17. Don't worry I don't get a penny of it, I have a wife and 5 kids two of them young adult/teenage daughters
  18. That's kinda scary sounding
  19. Big pain in the keister to print as well
