Engine 51

Flight sim computer. A very pricey gaming machine that, when its behaving is absolutely wonderful. However, it has what I am sure to be a video card problem. Out of nowhere the screen goes black just as if you had shut off the monitor. The video card fans go to 100% and the only way out is to shut down and start over. Research has shown this to be a fairly common issue with this model, and the remedy is replacing the video card. That's a $2800 item. It's under warranty and is going in tomorrow, we shall see how it goes.

Today’s irk: snow, snow and more snow. Enough already!!

Sorry to hear that Mike, it’s always tough to lose a pet. I have buried more than I care to remember. However, at least she went on her own terms and you didn’t have to take her in and go thru putting her down.

Snow/ice. Went to check the mailbox and ended up on my backside. Was down before I realized what happened. Sore wrist, arm and hip. At least once every winter. I sooooo HATE this weather.

Winter

I would love to live in a place where I would never see snow again. Dealt with it all my life, and it seems my tolerance is getting less and less each year. For those that don't see it that often, enjoy. How many days till spring?????

BOTH! With a bday five days from Christmas I've gotten plenty of "here's something and it's for both your bday and xmas". Always felt a little cheated. Just my two cents. Congratulations!!

Not sure if I’d call it bored, but I always stall right before I have to paint the body. It can take a long time to get that part done.

The handline nozzles and some of the connectors are resin. The photoetch parts were a real nightmare to deal with. The fit of the parts on the front of the truck left something to be desired. One other thing, if I ever build it again I would not put as much time and effort into the interior, as it is hidden once it’s finished. All that said, it is a very impressive truck when its complete, and it looks great in my display case.

The new Ford Pass App. I don’t understand why things just can’t be left alone. This new version is such a step backwards. There has been a lot of functionality lost, and things moved so they are more difficult to access. Used to be able to update the vehicles condition and location in real time, that’s gone. I can’t get it to update at all. Reading reviews on several sites (including the Ford App site) and there was not one positive review, but like everything else ford does the customers viewpoint means nothing.
