  1. Ok, here goes…had one of these as a kid. Would love one now to try and do it justice.
  2. I just read a post on his Facebook page that mentioned a possible brain tumor. I certainly hope that’s not the case….
  3. Wondered the same thing.
  4. And to that I say AMEN.
  5. Ok, I’m game, I’ll get some and give it a go. Thanks for the tip.
  6. Is that the same as Bondic, or is this something different?
  7. Got plenty of that on the bench, have had for years. This glue was highly recommended and was supposed to “grab” in about 15 seconds…not so. That said, yes, back to my old CA glue and the accelerator. That method at least won’t ruin my paint as I know what to expect with it. Thanks for jumping in tho.
  8. Super glue that is anything but. Won’t hold the part in place, but it will: melt the black paint off the piece I’m trying to attach and smear said black paint all over the front of the orange engine. Had to leave the bench before things got really ugly…..
  9. One thing I am learning about this unit is that it looks like I will have to buy filters in bulk. The airflow in this thing really plugs the filters fast….but that’s OK, it’s doin it’s job.
  10. Got this set up and have been putting it thru its paces. I am very pleased with its operation thus far. It does a great job of moving fumes (not a hint of paint odor in the shop). I will be using it a whole lot more in the near future as I am really backed up on my paint work.
  11. That’s great to hear, glad he’s on the recovery road! Especially losing some of the numbness.
  12. Finally pulled the trigger and ordered this spray booth. I got the optional 425 CFM motor. That option comes with a 5” discharge. I added an expander (5” to 6”) to make the duct 6” up and out thru the wall. I caulked the interior seams to seal it up a little better. It appears to be well made, looking forward to putting to work. Should be the last one I need to acquire.
  13. Glad to hear that. All the best for a full and quick recovery!
  14. Wonderful….so nice to see it factory stock. Well done!
  15. Yes, having that issue here as well. Great looking Cutlass BTW!
  16. First day of spring…..means we should be good for one more major snowstorm☹️
  17. Very nice. Always liked the “smiling sawfish”. Might have to hunt one of those kits up.
  18. Very nice…and doubly nice that you did it for your brother.
  19. I gave this a go as well, using the satin black. Great results airbrushing it. I now have a new “go to” for frames, engine parts and some interior components. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
