  1. You're in trouble. She is cute.
  2. I like your uncle already.
  3. What's wrong with Italy? I wouldn't hesitate, those kits seem to be rare by anybody's standard.
  4. How on earth could anyone call a Kelvinator a frigidaire?
  5. Then I wonder how many of you have ever seen these:
  6. Those bird kits are neat! Airfix did birds too: The series included a Little Owl that is as rare as it is cute: Bachmann also made birds:
  7. Can I have it with a turbodiesel, please? Gosh, what has the world come to... Then again, Lamborghini has been building SUVs for ages:
  8. So you are restoring a genuine Z-16?
  9. This is a RUNNING scale engine.
  10. It's called "Red Tape" and keeps a lot of people in unproductive jobs overpaid with our tax money.
  11. When I had towing service with my workshop (mandatory, based on the location of the garage) I had a towing license and the slim jim was registered with the chamber of commerce. After moving to an industrial estate and therefore deregistering the towing service, I was immediately asked to hand back the slim jim.
  12. I'm merely doing 30 years of catching up here. I sure won't arrive at the current cars for quite a while. So far, I have left out trucks altogether, despite the obviously gaping gaps in that field.
  13. I just used the Daimler because I found the illustration. I meant it vicegerally for any Empress styled car. It's hard to believe that one of the most stereotypically British body styles has never been rendered in model form. Hey, it was good enough to give Bill Mitchell the inspiration for the '63 Riv! And yes, all British car kits should have a LHD dash included, that goes without saying.
  14. ROFL I'm quite convinced there are people who are qualified for the job a lot better than I am. But thanks anyway.
  15. Absolutely. I was last year and there is no way I'm not going this year.
  16. Actuallly, the original original is by Bandai: There also was a Formal Sedan: This is by far the nicest build of the kit I've ever seen.
  17. Great, cheers. We really should see each other one of these days.
  18. Yes, they are very highly detailed kits. This is Martin Feldmann on the real Red Porsche Killer: This is the Revell model (w/aftermarket decals): This is the Satte Literschüssel: The Revell model: And an impression from the comic with Werner riding: The Red Porsche Killer has four Horex Regina engines. The Satte Literschüssel engine is scratchbuilt and supposed to be the biggest single in the world. Originally planned to have a 1 Litre single, it went to 1440cc during the build. The engine actually runs!
  19. The Minor should make a bona fide Gasser, too.
  20. Any '74 - '76 Electra would do it for me, thank you. I'd be happy to oblige, but I can't find suitable pictures to start with. It really is as if they wanted to throw a big blanket over this era and have us forget the cars ever existed. Well, I got news for them, whether they like it or not.
