  1. If it wasn't so close to reality.
  2. You are a gentleman, Sir!
  3. Definitely yes. The bonus is you can't ruin the paint job.
  4. Oy, aye. And a nice Honduras cigar afterwards.
  5. And don't forget Stephenson's Old Apple Farm out in Independence. Unfortunately, it apparently ran to seeds once the children took over I hear say, though.
  6. The problem is that if you employ a 13 year old kid nowadays, you go straight to jail.
  7. For 5-600 I'd rather buy an old Morris from a Tom or Geoff in the neighborhood, do a bit of tinkering, add some spares I got from a Ted or Mick in the neighborhood, then sell it to some jerkster who ran into loot at the stockmarket for 1000 or so. Or better, 3000.
  8. So, so. I have some that must be something like 40 years old and work a treat, others don't. No correlation to age or anything. I think it's pure coincidence. If they held the propellant, they should work. If it leaked (and subequently air got in) they have gone off.
  9. You better believe it!
  10. Woah! Are there more Dr. Cranky junkies in here?
  11. With the offerings the kit industry saw fit to release over the past 30 odd years I'm for some odd reason not surprised kids aren't buying kits. In fact, I am surprised that I still go for the odd result of a worn out mold reissued the umpteenth time.
  12. I'm going to upgrade my '75 Rover V8 to electronic ignition. Does this count?
  13. I'm not going any deeper into this subject (pun bloody well intended). I don't want this thread being nixed by you.
  14. A billion thumbs up, man!
  15. And how could I possibly forget one of my personal no brainers? Hhhhhhhhhhhhhng! I'm not responsible...
  16. Thank you for saying it You are very welcome. And I'd like to repeat it so often that they can't hear it anymore. If it wasn't for the valiant effort the aftermarket dudes put in, I'd be off to diecasts for a long time by now. So hey, thank them for doing it!
  17. I just use Photoshop and MS Paint.
  18. Hey, thanks! I am doing this just to ventilate 30 years of frustration from dealing with an industry that is incapable to do anything but milk the same haggard cow over and over again, wondering why the client base diminishes. Even a model kit box is still too big for them to think outside of. And btw. it's great fun!
  19. I think I have a serious problem. I'm really dreaming this.
  20. I find it astonishing how many real Mopar enthusiasts don't know that. I also believed in Kelsey Hayes for decades, until I learned the truth from none other than Chip Loree.
  21. At least you take the effort to save overseas buyers some postage, which I find utmost commendable. You are a gentleman, and a scholar! Have you ever considered looking into commercial freight forwarding for overseas shipping, instead of the usual postal or parcel services? At least in the EU (of which the UK is a part) the customs and VAT rates are calculated on top of the value of the merchandise INCLUDING shipping costs! So saving on shipping as much as possible is a very high priority for us Europeans. Could you please post a link to your shop?
