  1. I think I just realized that the interior tub is different. The M.M. kit has the van bucket seats and the stock kit has a console. So, maybe starting with the stock kit and maybe finding a Hemi K-member is the way to go.
  2. So the Missile car will have all the factory trim on the body? That is what I'm wanting.
  3. I’m going to build a ’65 Plymouth Satellite as a Hemi powered street machine. Basically my vision is a show room stock appearing car with Cragars, slicks and a Hemi. My question is this: am I better off starting with the ’65 “Melrose Missile” Plymouth kit or the showroom looking ’65 Plymouth Satellite kit? I want the interior to be stock not race car and the exterior to have all the factory trim. My gut tells me to start with the “Melrose Missile” kit and add a backseat if the kit doesn’t have one, that that would be easier than kit bashing a Hemi into it, since there is a kit that already has a Hemi. I guess I’m wondering how similar are the two kits. I don’t mind kit bashing and swapping parts out, but I want to start off with the kit that makes the most sense compared to what I want my finish build to be.
  4. How did this build turn out? I'm actually in a black shirt with a video camera, along the fence in the cover picture.
  5. It is the Lindberg kit. I appreciate all the replies. I double checked, again, to make sure I hadn't missed a piece or assembled it incorrectly, and it looks like I've not done either. With that being said, my idea to fix it was mentioned by @R. Thorne. Although the route @StevenGuthmiller is a good way to go, if my rear end was glued into place, I would probably to it that way.
  6. I'm building the '64 CMG Dodge, pretty much box stock. Well its actually going to be the Little Old Lady from Pasadena's car, correct to the song, however for this question its box stock. I'm building out the suspension right now, and I never thought to check before paint, but the holes in the wheels are a larger diameter than the axle or spindle "pins". I've followed the instructions and do not see where I could have gone wrong. I can come up with a solution, or I'm open to advice on it, but before I started any fabrication or modifying I wanted to see if anyone else had a similar problem and what they did. Your help is appreciated!
  7. @Jim B @Classicgas @PappyD340 Thank you all for the kind words!
  8. @Rocking Rodney Rat Where did you find the Mr. Horsepower decals?
  9. Do you remember where you got the Mr. Horsepower decals?
  10. Do you happen to know what kit has the Mr. Horsepower decals?
  11. No, just down the road. My boys and I eat breakfast there on Saturdays a lot, and we are there most evenings.
  12. Thank you for the compliment!
  13. I appreciate that! It was done before I "knew things", the paint is Rust-Oleum!
  14. An old build, that I like because it was my first attempt at a "creative" paint job. And two of my current build.
  15. While I was letting glue dry on my current project, I used that time to repaired an older build. When I got done the sun was starting to set so I took the opportunity to take a some pictures.
  16. Thank you so much! That means so much to me, that I don't know what to say!
  17. What a fantastic job!
  18. I'll keep you posted on how it turns out!
  19. I bet I could get those and just add a couple of wrinkles in the other direction!
  20. I think your right! I may have to try that route. Thank for the reply.
  21. Does anyone make wrinkle wall slicks, that do NOT depict the rotation of the tire? The look the tire would have sitting in the lanes is what I'm looking for. Thanks for the help.
