Well I'm dedicated now.... Just dropped $68 at the LHS for sheet styrene, tubes, metal screen... all that and I forgot the rubber cement and a new tube of glue. Good thing there's a Michaels close to the house. I think it would have been cheaper to buy a tank model and re-use all the weapons from that.

How did you do the "welded" look on the edge of the added armor?

I started out planning on using most of the kit, but only ended up using the body, radiator and front end. Built or re-used everything else. The kit engine is smaller than the one in the pics with still decent detail. There's not a whole lot of detail in my opinion... then again, there's not a whole lot to the kit. It's pretty basic (maybe the 1:1 is the same, I don't know). For the cost of the kit I was a little let down.

This is going to be great. Also, Great idea for the Calendar. If we don't get 12 people, we can do compilation pics for the rest of the months. It took me a while to get to sleep last night as I was thinking of how I'm going to do my car.... I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!!!!
