  1. Great looking truck! Great work on all the mods. Did you consider making a windshield for it out of clear plastic?
  2. Wooohooo... Thanks ######'n. I understand where Raul is comin from (but actually didn't think about that til after it was brought up)... Just finished PM'n him that I'm weathered the body now so there's no turning back now. I hope to have the interior done by next weekend and the body-n-frame together. I've gotta have this done by Hune 17th, that's my goal. On the 18th I'm headed to Argentina for 3 weeks. But, after I get back I'll have a month without my wife and kids to devote to some serious modelling. They're staying a total of 7 weeks because her family is there. Have a great Memorial Day weekend all. Eric K.
  3. I gotta say that belongs in the Real or Not section! Your display, detail and finish are perfect! Great job!

    Dodge Ram

Wow. That looks Great! I feel like I'm at the arena looking at one of the real trucks...
  5. Looking great Raul. Your models always come out looking super!
  6. No rules... How do you think a Donk-Rat would look? LOL.. just kidding. Yeah, that 21 inch tall rat on ebay is crazy. That interior was very ugly... shag carpet...? So you think I should paint over those door numbers? The driver's side number is a little rough, but the passenger side came out better... but I'm not worried, it's a Rat. I do like the little touches of blue against the silver. I've added the same blue to the bench seat too.
  7. Lookin GREAT! I didn't know those cars were so decal oriented. I'll never complain about decals again (unless I do one of those).
  8. LOL... White walls and a number on the door. What's the problem? I'm fairly new at this and willing to try different things. I didn't see a rule book saying I couldn't...
  9. Some new pics of the silver rod... Ended up lowering the rear and raising the front a little. Something a little different... But yeah, it has the open vent on the cowl, used a silver Duplicolor spray can. Painted the white walls flat black by hand. Still deciding if I'll just have the radiator up front, or add the grill too. I don't know... Ok. Before I finished for the night I added a number to the side. Trying to simulate an adhoc spray can stencil. It may have come out a little too spray can-ish though.... Well, that's where I am now.
  10. Wow. The blue and stripes look great. The ghost flames just take it to the next level. Great Paint!
  11. COOL!!!! I'm really loving the old cars more and more. There's so much you can do with them and they always look unique and awesome. Keep us posted on the progress.

Cool little rod! very unique and basic. I like how simple you kept it. Sometimes keeping it simple is harder to do than adding too much detail.
  13. Wow. Great detail and even greater paint! How'd you get that detail on the dash guages???
  14. Sweet build. That's some nice clean detail.
  15. Great CJ! I've been thinking of doing a Jeep myself and you've captured (very well) the effect I had in mind. I'll have to re-think my own if I do one. Great work, Great detail! Any pics of the engine?

    RATROD

BIGGER PICS! BIGGER PICS! BIGGER PICS! MUST SEE RAT!!!! From what I can tell, it looks really sweet! I need to see more....
  17. Flames and car look GREAT! Any pics of the engine?
  18. GREAT ride! Looks fast just sitting there. A car like that would turn many heads riding down the road. Great work!
  19. MEAN looking and still beautiful! Great job!
  20. With little work, that top would work nicely. I like how it leans back... makes it look fast. Since you're making it a PU, go all the way and make it a 4x4!!!
  21. Prices up here in Md about .10 over last day or two. Filled up for 3.67 this morning at the cheapest place I could find.
  22. I can mail you one at cost. Probably still cheaper than buying local since prices are going up. I wonder if there'll be more stuff appearing at Big Lots now that prices are going up and people will likely start purchasing less...?
  23. Found these two kits at the Big Lots in Westmisnter, Md for $5 each. Got 3. There's 6 or 7 of each left if anyone is close.
  24. Following up with a some progress... Painted the rims and wrapping the exhaust... Stretched the frame 7/16s inch and raised the rear floor above the suspension to lower the rear... Engine and rear end... And finally the body so far. The vent will be open so I cut it out... Sorry no mock ups yet.
  25. The car looks really good. That's a great color too.
