  1. Maryland Regular is 3.62-3.73 as of yesterday when I filled up my Jeep. I'm spending $100 a week on gas just driving to/from work. This SUCKS!
  2. WOW! FANTASTIC paint job! Awesome work! I want to see more!
  3. Go for it! I gotta see more.
  4. Good point slantasaurus... what's acceptable changes over time. Mostly depending on what people choose to be offended over. I was aware of ebay's policy over referencing or reflecting ANYTHING nazi getting booted. Just to be clear... I'm offended by things (I started to list some, but thought better of it), maybe we should remove everything from society that offends anyone...? Oh wait, aren't we already doing that? Well, the ones that a priveledged few get to pick. Oh wait, isn't this the home of the free? Unless it has to do with a German WWII symbol. But that's ok because we've got no skeletons in our closet (what native indians?)... and the Japanese and Russian symbols are ok. Since we're at it, lets ban the cross because of the Holly Wars that oppressed and killed Muslims, and really started this whole terrorism thing. (to self) Shut up! I need to get off the soapbox. I gotta stop reading this thread.
  5. ok. I finally read through this thread and I'm surprised at the feathers it's ruffled. Nobody denies that any genocide is terrible nor that genocide has happened in the past. But it is part of our history, as well as that nazi beetle model. If anything the symbol should make you stop and think, not flip out. The most important side to all of this is that we do not participate in, endorse, nor promote genocide in any way. The symbol means diffrent things to different people, what's important is what it means to you. Compasion and understanding is the key. I would NEVER display that symbol in my house, but how different is that kit from a nazi tank or airplane model with the same symbol? I wouldn't feel ashamed to have that kit (minus symbol) sitting on my shelf (or the unfinished kit in the box in my garage for that matter... it's history and you can not deny history). I have nazi coins I've collected and have read books on WWII history including the Germans becasue it's very interesting. Our government has done things that you would be ashamed of, but we don't know everything they've done. Does that make it better? I say build the kit however you want (I doubt you'll use those decals though ). I intended to keep this short and simple. Oh well... EK
  6. Picked up this AMT 34 Ford kit on sale at Michaels a while ago. Started it now that I've finished the 69 Mustang. Already chopped and channeled it... Here's my color inspiration... And some test coloring... Here's how I have it sitting so far. I think I'm using the kit's wheels and rims, but the height in this pic is probably not close to what I'll end up at... Another one... The rear so far... I've painted some med tape black and I plan to wrap the exhaust pipes with it... Well, that's all I have for now. Going to go get ready for a Cinco de Mayo party... Thanks for looking. Eric K.
  7. Here's my latest completion... AMT 69 Mustang Mach 1 Resto Rod kit PE Hood Pins (Major pain to work with) PE Battery terminals PE Seat Belt pieces Aluminum Distributor (I think was too big for this one. Had to shave under hood to fit) Wheels and Rims are from kit Testor's light blue Black interior (instead of flocking I used embossing powder and it turned out great) Custom dual exhaust I'd rate fit at about 95% perfect. It was a lot of fun to build. Front View Front/top View Hood closed and pinned Underside Well I hope you enjoy looking at it as I do. Thanks for lokoin. Eric K.
  8. It looks COOL just like that. If you rebuilt it / repaired it it would loose some of that coolness.
  9. She's a beauty. Is this a real or not thread?
  10. That is one MIGHTY FINE '36! Great work!

    09 Camaro

That Camaro looks great! Beautiful smooth paint job and nice detail. Looks like it belongs on a showroom floor.
  12. That is one sweeeeet pickup! Great work!
  13. Wow! I love it!
  14. I've used the chrome on a few things (I don't have a fancy airbrush or other way to replicate chrome nicely yet), and it's ok. It's more like a shiney silver, but acceptible.
  15. That is BAD A$$
  16. Looks great! Looks like you really knew what you were doing (being your first short track racer). Me like!

  19. Very different. Great work. Stick to your style and what you like to do Bro! I think it needs some 44" Super Swampers instead of the street wheels....
  20. How did you get the paint to come out so great on such a small car? All I can say is Awesome! The first few pics are very misleading about it's size.
  21. I told it was blue and she said she prefered red... LOL Just Kidding. Looks good!
  22. Great job! I hope she's having fun with it.
  23. I'll cautiously sneak my humble comment in here... Although these are not my cup of tea, I like the work you've done. Post some pics when you get the paint done.
