Really good looking build!

So I was looking over the forum to see if I can find someone who has also built the 10th Gen Thunderbird from the Revell releases and oh my your build is my dream. I have built one of these a while back and rebuilt it last year, I also have built a 1991 Cougar XR7. I plan to build a 89 this year from the same Revell kit as yours. Your tip of trimming the rear and mounting the bumpers during sub assembly will help me a TON!!! Your build looks great and I hope mine turns out even half as nice. I also saw that you have some Grand Prix models which I also have in my stash!!! Nice work!! I like your builds!!!!

This was my third build I had ever made in my life back in 2012. It has lived in a box and somehow survived. This car has some crude details but it was one of my very first and I am surprised it looks presentable. 1969 Ford (Torino) Talladega which I have now realized how rare of a car it actually is. Somehow I painted this with Testors Extreme Lacquer Deja Blue which is similar to one of the factory colors available in 1969. I wanted to rebuild this car but it has a survivor vibe to it so i'm going to leave it. I have since bought the AMT 1969 Torino Cobra version of this car which I look forward to build.

I love this generation of GM B Bodies along with clean Lowriders. I always wanted this exact set up of car, I think wire wheels really look good on them. This is one of my first few builds so the paint has its moments and I learned not to get Tamiya polish in panel lines. I also probably should have chopped up the wheel mounts so they would tuck into the wheel wells but at the time I did not have the courage to do it. I actually kinda like the stance, looks like a DIY hydraulic job. Anyways I bought another one of these kits to redo this kit but I may do it as a higher trim and leave the stock wheels. I also want to build a stock Impala SS. This build is basically done up as a guy who bought an old 9C1 from an auction, painted it in his backyard and threw some wire wheels on it. He also really detailed the engine and underbody...lol Tamiya TS 76 Mica Silver.

Thanks for the kind words Jeff!! Now that sounds like a job i'd be pumped to get up early for, well at least I think I would... -
This kit was great. Went together great. The Tamiya TS-51 Racing Blue went down great by my standards. I wanted to get a resin Hemi or 5.9 Magnum but the Viper engine worked out nice and I think suits the 90s vibe of the truck. I chose to leave the decals as they were old and I like the truck in blue. I am pleased with this build. The only thing that went downhill was the front bumper seemed to be wider than the body. Unfortunately it pokes out on the passenger side but all said and done, great kit and I would highly recommend. I don't want to call this a concept, more of a pre production research and development to the SRT10

I bought this kit to build a tribute to my beloved 1:1 1997 Honda Accord I owned. Mine was green and it was a sedan. I sadly could not get the shade of Green in Duplicolor so I settled for this Honda Bordeaux Red. I also could not find a USDM sedan kit so I settled for the Wagon, I do love wagons. I tried to build this car as stock and american looking as I could without needing to do a left hand drive conversion. I also built it up to be a 1997. This kit was a challenge for me because I can barely follow English instructions let alone Japanese instructions. I also found that the plastics were very brittle and my Round 2 Revell fingers really had to tone it down as this kit would not forgive my building ways. This was also one of my Duplicolor ventures that went south. I think I messed up the primer so the Duplicolor crazed the kit on the rear bumper and over all the fenders. Next time I need to either seal the primer or use Duplicolor primer. The kit also came cracked out of the box on one of the fenders and the glass cracked on installation. Overall the car looks alright, I went to town polishing out the orange peel and crazing. I look forward to my Tamiya Nissans I have lined up to build.
