  1. OK.... Dan Rosenello on the other board says Black [according to Fred Cady's decal reference] but also puts Thompson as the driver. I'll check with Fred. Any more you can provide is appreciated, gents.
  2. First...thanks to Tony for the conversion kit. Received today. Looks good! Second..... are these GoodYear Wingfoots on the Corvettes? Also, any idea what color THIS car is and who's driving it?
  3. A Kren build with whitewalls??  LOL
  4. ALL Cobra Colors product is pre-thinned, ready to shoot.
  5. That car builder maxed out his engines [at least on the hood 'call-out']. The rule in those days was 430 c.i. MAX. Ford & Mercury had 429's and perhaps the psychological game of matching that call-out was important.
  6. Great concept and builds, ACME! Bob, you must mean Evan and Rob from Guelph Modelers in Canada [and GPMA] who did the same concept. I'd like to get a few together for something like this, but there's little endurance/road racing interest here near the Motor City. 7-8 second quarter mile times are not conducive to build sessions
  7. Yep....good tip. Also good for megaphone exhaust tips [the SMALL end, you wiseguys!] Here's the Province of Ontario's flower [shrub ?]
  8. Wildrice -- Yes, RMR Steve -- They're by Larry Hornsby. BIG into the traditional hot rod scene here.

  10. Oooooh......purty........
  11. ALPS decals Testors Go Mango Auto Lacquer, Tamiya Black. My last 2 builds....
  12. John..., all I have is the Fred Cady Gold scallop sheet. Ken,..... no flakes! Right out of the can!
  13. Obviously it still needs BMF etc....., but wondering if you think a few tastefully added scallops would be OK or too much? Interior is gold/champagne Body is Testors Auto Lacquer Artesian Turquoise Metallic. W-170C wheels from ModelHaus. Tires are Firestones painted by Irv Arter Jr.
  14. Did that color brighten up in the drying process? It seems lighter. Maybe it was the clear. It couldn't have been your big paws....
  15. Gregg, there WILL be a big collection of NASCARS at Toledo. P.S. - I'm buying a round.
