  1. That's really cool to see! Nice! Keep in mind though, that the prototype had the flat-6 mounted transverse, with outputs on each side driving a single rear wheel. Issues with this setup didn't get resolved, as Preston was indeed a bit ahead of his time. Production cars had the flat-6 mounted inline, so the setup was more like the Corvair. Erik
  2. Yea, we'd really like to do a Station Wagon at some point, but it ain't going to be the Coronet. Ain't going to be MY choice either...... Lakewood
  3. Would not be hard to do from our kit. Move the B-Pilar and rescribe the door lines. I've seen a couple of good builds people have done with the Belvedere kit already doing just that. Here's a quickie markup I did so we could keep all the types straight. The AWB doesn't show up on this however..... (it's originally from a dealer brochure). Erik
  4. Paint? I could just blame Jalopnik again, but in looking for pics of these a LOT of Mercury trucks seem to have painted bright work. Not always, but frequently. So we split the difference. Erik
  5. There's more to the markings on the door than most people may pick up on.
  6. Yes, the blue Coronet will have the wedge engine, just like the Belvedere. Primary differences between the two are the tires, grille options, and engine/hood set up. Only one of them will make you hum a Jan & Dean song.
  7. Sorry, but no plans just yet. Still many other things to get done first!
  8. Okay, here's the box art. We're getting close. Thanks, Erik
  9. We're getting really close to getting these out the door. All should be showing up at the same time. The AWB is a Model King release. Thanks, Erik Moebius
  10. Sorry, only two sets of plates. Ontario and the Happy Province.
  11. These are the replacement hubcaps on the regular chrome sprue, and will be showing up on other Ford pickups as they get re-run. We put the 4X4 fronts on there to give people the choice, even though they are not specifically for the Mercury.
  12. Hello All, Well, time to unleash the giant kaiju beaver we've been keeping tucked away for a bit now, and take a little trip to the GWN, eh? Here's a project that's been ticking over in the back of my head for a few years now. I blame Jalopnik really. Coming soon to the Moebius Models range, is kit # 2740, a 1968 Mercury M100 Pickup. Retail price will be $35.99 Final box art still being finished up, so here's a little vision of what I'm sure Canada looks like. Enjoy! Erik Solie Moebius Models
  13. The wrecker is a F350 4x4 Proper rear suspension and wheelbase accounted for.
  14. Very nice build! Outstanding work!
  15. Well, not saying that we're going to, but if Moebius ever does one, the reference vehicle will be my daily driver, a 1993 D-21 standard cab!
  16. They are indeed the same ones. And if you send over an e-mail to customerservice@moebiusmodels.com I can sell you 20 if you really want that many. (don't message me here, send the e-mail to where I'll see it please!)
  17. Last week I mentioned that we were going to have some Moebius parts available separately soon, and here they are. https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/dually-rims-tire-set-unplated/ https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/dually-rims-tires-chrome-plated/ https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/4-x-4-mudder-off-road-rims-tires/ https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/snow-plow/ https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/product/gun-rack-two-guns/ Some of these are from kits that have not yet come out. We also now have snow plows available separately (although you'll have to provide your own lenses for the lights). Here's a link for all the newest items I've put up on the Pegasus Hobbies webstore. https://pegasushobbies.wpcomstaging.com/shop/?orderby=date
  18. While it's unlikely that we'll have full packaged "parts packs" to show up in retail stores, we will have certain bits and pieces up on the Pegasus Hobbies web store soon. No real packaging, just plain jane parts in a bag.
  19. Coming soon to a Moebius Models Truck kit near you! These will be showing up in a future release, but wanted to let you guys know that they are in the pipeline.
  20. Here's a couple of quick pics for the test fitting. Erik
  21. Nice pic from Crescent City. You know that's a 480? Skip the moldings? You mean the molded on trim? Sorry, that's part of the cab tooling, and it's there to stay. 5 minutes with a Tamiya steel file and it's all gone easy-peasy. Ask me how I know......
  22. Test shots have arrived. Keep in mind these are first generation ones, so some bits may change still. Erik Solie Moebius Models
  23. Here's a preview of the upcoming Moebius Models Wrecker. We hope to have first test shots on this soon. Kit will hopefully be out late this year. Erik Solie Moebius Models
