  1. Yes. Hope to get these back on the market as soon as we can. Maybe January? I'll be posting an "official" announcement as soon as we have more particulars available.
  2. Pure professionalism! 10 out of 10 in all categories.
  3. Wait, I thought we did? Yup, just looked in the warehouse, there's a bunch of them there. You won't have to wait much longer for these to return to normal availability Outstanding build Mario! Looks wonderful in your color choice, and photography is very nice. Erik
  4. Depends on how many we get in the spares box from production. Container is being unloaded at warehouse today, so should know soon. We've actually replaced the old ones with the new ones in the tooling, so future production of all the Fords that use this sprue will now have the corrected hubcaps. Erik Solie
  5. Uh oh, I better distract you all then so I can sneak back to the salt mines......
  6. Ok, guess I should put these up here as well. Finally, our takes on the 1965 Nova get not one, but two kits. These should be available in a few months, so hopefully no long wait for you. New 1965 grille for both. The SS Coupe should have tampo whitewalls on the tires. For those playing along at home, your stock # bingo cards should now be full for kits 2320~2324 (all five of our kits for the Chevy II's) What could be next????? Erik Solie Moebius Models
  7. Model King will be getting a bunch of them too, but it's not a MK exclusive. They're getting the Strickler AWB Dodge which should also be coming soon. Before the wrecker, but not by much. When the wrecker sells out, we'll be making more!
  8. Hopefully we'll have them around mid-September. So many things need to line up for no delays to happen and it seems like it's always something. Port workers strike, new pandemic, zombie apocalypse, take your pick! Up for pre-order now on the Pegasus Hobbies site (sorry, USA only). Will be shipping when they get here, whenever that is. Model Roundup is already down for a grip of them, so they'll be getting them asap too. Erik
  9. Not so sure on this. ALL wreckers (unless it's mounted in a standard pickup bed (which can be done)) were generally ordered as cab only units, and then Napco, Holmes, whomever would chop off the last bit of the frame rails to mount their own proprietary bed. What the cab chassis is (250/350 2x4/4x4) is largely up to the builder. PTO mounts are all over the place depending on preferences. Many of the wreckers we looked at were 4x4's. But yes, it could also be built up with the twin I beam fronts if you've got the spares. You'll need to come up with your own PTO though.
  10. Official version of the box
  11. That's really cool to see! Nice! Keep in mind though, that the prototype had the flat-6 mounted transverse, with outputs on each side driving a single rear wheel. Issues with this setup didn't get resolved, as Preston was indeed a bit ahead of his time. Production cars had the flat-6 mounted inline, so the setup was more like the Corvair. Erik
  12. Yea, we'd really like to do a Station Wagon at some point, but it ain't going to be the Coronet. Ain't going to be MY choice either...... Lakewood
  13. Would not be hard to do from our kit. Move the B-Pilar and rescribe the door lines. I've seen a couple of good builds people have done with the Belvedere kit already doing just that. Here's a quickie markup I did so we could keep all the types straight. The AWB doesn't show up on this however..... (it's originally from a dealer brochure). Erik
  14. Paint? I could just blame Jalopnik again, but in looking for pics of these a LOT of Mercury trucks seem to have painted bright work. Not always, but frequently. So we split the difference. Erik
  15. There's more to the markings on the door than most people may pick up on.
  16. Yes, the blue Coronet will have the wedge engine, just like the Belvedere. Primary differences between the two are the tires, grille options, and engine/hood set up. Only one of them will make you hum a Jan & Dean song.
  17. Sorry, but no plans just yet. Still many other things to get done first!
  18. Okay, here's the box art. We're getting close. Thanks, Erik
  19. We're getting really close to getting these out the door. All should be showing up at the same time. The AWB is a Model King release. Thanks, Erik Moebius
  20. Sorry, only two sets of plates. Ontario and the Happy Province.
  21. These are the replacement hubcaps on the regular chrome sprue, and will be showing up on other Ford pickups as they get re-run. We put the 4X4 fronts on there to give people the choice, even though they are not specifically for the Mercury.
  22. Hello All, Well, time to unleash the giant kaiju beaver we've been keeping tucked away for a bit now, and take a little trip to the GWN, eh? Here's a project that's been ticking over in the back of my head for a few years now. I blame Jalopnik really. Coming soon to the Moebius Models range, is kit # 2740, a 1968 Mercury M100 Pickup. Retail price will be $35.99 Final box art still being finished up, so here's a little vision of what I'm sure Canada looks like. Enjoy! Erik Solie Moebius Models
  23. The wrecker is a F350 4x4 Proper rear suspension and wheelbase accounted for.
  24. Very nice build! Outstanding work!
