Here is my completed 1948 FX Holden Gasser. It is mostly 3d resin printed by me, the only thing that wasn’t printed are the wheels and tyres. The front wheels are made to resemble very Rare John English mag wheels from the 60s in Australia. It is painted in SMS pearl white and Clear green over the top of it. Overall as my real first attempt at a 3d printed model there is much more to learn. The motor is a bare bones Holden 179 with a fuel injection manifold to resemble an alcohol powered car.

Finished this 69 gto kit the other day. The wheels and intake are parts box bits. Painted in SMS paints mostly their clear red and clear orange over a silver base.

This hq looks like it came straight out the old Australian Hotrod magazines from the mid to late 70s it needs some dragway 5 spokes to complete the look I reckon. Looking forward for the end result of this.

Well the paint is waiting for some clear. The chassis needs exhausts and a steering wheel. The body needs decals and glass and then it will be completed.

Man this is one build that inspires me to build a model of Ken Spence’s Mk 2 ford zephyr that had a 289 hi po motor in it. That was a drag and circuit raced during this era of Australian motorsports. -

I’ve started painting the psychedelic paint on the Monaro using various candy paints from SMS paints.

There has been more but slow progress on this. The engine is halfway complete and I’ve decided I will use the correct sort of chassis for this car I just have to print it out. The body needs some painted flames on it. But that’s it for now.
