  1. The wheels didn’t come from a kit! The wheels came from Jay’s Resin wheels on eBay! Lots of cool wheels too be had! Check him out!
  2. Thanks! I will definitely use this advice. I have filled in the door jams so the body has become 1 piece. I went out and purchased an airbrush system because I am sick of rattle cans ! Anything can effect them!
  3. I did some filling and sanding and wet sanding before spraying it white so i could see where I missed! Almost there!
  4. I know the black paint doesn’t look bad in the pictures but if you zoom in you will see what I mean! Lolll awful!
  5. I have decided to go a different route with my AMT 1960 Corvette! After several times trying to correct the paint job problem and making it worse, stripping it 3 times and sanding, I’ve decided to do my own thing once again! I've cut the windshield hoop off and cut the whole interior section out of the body and filled it in with a one seat old Indy car style cockpit. I think this could be the beginning of an outta this world custom 1960 corvette! I’ll post the progress! Thanks!
  6. Really nice build! Love the tear drop hood! Awesomely different!
  7. Thanks! I’m thinking of changing it a bit to resemble my first mock up !
  8. Thanks! However I am going to change the engine and suspension to lower it a bit and put a fuel injection setup on top of that hemi ! ( short stacks because I like the hood)
  9. Thanks! This is the first model car I made to start modeling again! Turned out pretty good!
  10. I’m probably going to get another one for just the body. I would like to make a slammed twin turbo Hemi Drag car! Thanks for the like!
  11. Yes! AMT Prostreeting the 66 Nova and the 67 Chevelle the GTX Prostreet really opened up kit conversions! I guess that’s why they are so cheap! Thanks for the like!
  12. Looks excellent! Reminds me of the late great Ritchie Evans
  13. Your Galaxie looks awesome! Can’t wait to see it complete!
  14. Mock-up! Going to polish the body 3 more times and then assembly.
  15. Thanks! I have another nascar complete chassis with engine. I think Im going to make a Smokey Yunick chevelle. Ill just have to use the steel wheels from the modified stocker kit, I already have a 67 chevelle body ready to have the wheel wells radiused.
  16. 1960 corvette on the bench! Paint work is done, wet sand and polish next! Haven’t decided on an engine just yet, definitely something crazy, twin turbo, blower? Any suggestions??!!
  17. What types of automotive polishes and compounds can I use to get orange peel off of my model car and what kind of wet sand paper should I use for best results? Thanks
  18. Thanks! I do want to change the induction on top of the hemi and lower the suspension like in the mockup photos! Thanks for visiting!
  19. I am probably gonna make some changes to this one! I really don’t like the engine so I might go roots blown or stacks with fuel injection plus I want to lower the suspension down like my mock up pictures
  20. Hey man! I had a 1980 black and gold trans-am and there’s NOTHING like a set of Keystone Classics on a car! ANY CAR!!! In my stash I have a 1979 Trans - am and I got a set of Jays resin Keystone Classics to relieve the dream! That’s a while down the road! I’m doing every car I've ever owned! Keep up the the awesome work modeling!
  21. I always loved the big Mopars! I have about 8 of them in my stash! Keep on modeling! Nice work Michelle!
  22. Thanks Michelle! I really hate the motor though! I think I'm gonna change it to either a blower or fuel injection!
