Hello. Does anyone know the proper paint color for the '65 Lincoln? I am working on the AMT Prestige convertible. Looking online I have seen all black, all blue, & black with blue valve colors. I was leaning towards all black after seeing what appeared to be an unrestored one. But then another all original had an all blue engine. Did they change the color mid-year '65? Any help would be appreciated. Kind regards, Joe

Hello guys and gals. My first time posting here on the site. Last fall, I started selling a bunch of kits I had in boxes since the ‘80’s. Then I realized “why am I selling these when I could be building them again.” So I returned to a kit I started all those years ago but never finished - AMT Prestige 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL. I dove in with both feet with black paint color, cutting out the doors and trunk, and a lot of other mods to try for stock accuracy. Certainly not perfect but not bad for being rusty at building. Love all the posts and shares here. Glad the hobby is still going strong! Kind regards, Joe
