    Engine and body are installed. Going to let the glue cure before putting the headers and exhaust connectors in.

    Got brakes, axles and spindles installed. Front wheels are glued in place. Got a little tweaking to do for final body alignments. The engine is ready to go in once the driveshaft is made. We're without power since Friday morning at 8:15-ish. So I'm working by flashlight ? Please disregard the mess.

    Alclad Magnesium for the chassis/interior and grille surround. This stuff is EEEAASSSY to use! I think ALL of the ugly has been removed from the grille ?

    I see guys do that, and I can see doing it on some builds, but, I remember going to car shows and seeing folks Armorall the treads on the tires on show cars.

    Anyone else into 1:25 scale drag racing? I put this together 17-ish years ago to race with my oldest son. That place closed up some time ago. I have recently learned of another track in the area. It's fun ?

    Soooo, ya know the aluminum pins that come in this kit for the drums? I dropped one and it has bounced to oblivion ? what are some solutions to this dilemma?

    There was a remark earlier about the grille being "ugly". I think I'm well on my way to removing said ugly. ?

    I had initially thought bright red for the interior and finned drums. I don't think that will look right with the flames. I'm going to play with gray and turquoise this evening ?
