Looks good! I built one back in the '80s. It too fell and hit the ground. I have a fresh one in the stash to build one day.

This is beyond realistic! What truck are you building? -
MCW paints are great. I've used their lacquer with great results. Their factory colors are spot on. I like Createx paints as well. I painted the Chevelle with MCW lacquer Tahitian Turquoise and the bike with Createx(can't recall the name right off).

I worked at a Phillips 66 Service Station back in '86. A fella came in driving a '63 Chevy II SS that was a 4 cylinder and 3 speed on the floor. Was a cool car.

A trick to doing the embossing powder is to use the same color paint as the powder you're putting on. That way, if there's any bare spots you can't see it. -

Looks good. I uae the Molotow refill and a small brush to paint details. It cleans with rubbing alcohol instead of paint thinner. -

Don't be so hard on yourself. This is a hobby. Have FUN! Look at it as an exercise. Take what you've learned from this kit and apply it to the next one. -

The Nova had 14" wheels from the factory. The 17" wheels will require alot of work to fit the small wheel wells. I've used a few sets of Jay's wheels, and have more in stock.
