  1. Bouncing between kits while waiting for glue to cure. I got the lower bed corners rounded to match the rear valance. Worked on a few low spots. I need to get the body tabs/mounting squared away and figure out the interior and engine compartment roll bars.
  2. Very nice work! Where did you get the diamond flake?
  3. Nice! I like it! I've got a '40 panel that I built in the '80s undergoing some updating.
  4. The Molotow is hard to beat in my book. Should have the engine in tomorrow, then after a few more touch ups, be finished this weekend.
  5. If you'd like to run the plug wires like a 1:1, this will help. Installing them is easy, mic the wire and use the appropriate drill to make your holes. If you want to know where the plugs locate in the heads, Google search spark plug locations for whichever engine you're working on. Topher
  6. Getting close.
  7. I built a '66 C10 with a Hemi, HOK paint and resin wheels last year(HEMIFRIED) I thought itd be cool to have a Henry J posing beside it. My wife liked it and said she wanted one in yellow done up like a Taxi. Why not?

  9. I got them from Jay's Resin Wheels on Ebay.
  10. Thank You. I tried a few others, but these just looked right. The finger took 3 stitches. All healed up now.
  11. Thank You. Here he is sitting on all 4. I'm digging the stance. These are the wheels.
  12. I'm building a '72 Chevelle tribute to the one I had back in the '80s. Being young and dumb, I wrapped it around a pole in '88. I've got the correct color from MCW. There were a few places that needed attention, so I have more paint coming to correct those.
  13. I'm not putting bumpers on this truck. I found a rolled valance leftover from a '64 Olds 442 kit. I think it will look good with the front valance.
  14. I used some sprue goo to fill in some low spots. I'd like to do all of the filling and sanding prior to priming. One thing that helped me I think is the fact the bed is attached to the cab.
  15. I cut 5/8" out of the bed to fit the chassis. The razor saw came in handy for that. This is by far the most customized building I've done. I'll gladly accept tips/critiques along the way.
  16. I bought one of the AMT Coke '72 Chevrolet C 10s off Ebay. It was missing the engine and wheels, so it made a good candidate for a custom build. A friend gave me a '91 Lumina NASCAR kit, so I thought the chassis would be cool under the truck. I started cutting the engine compartment out, got down to the last 1/8" and the body broke sending my knife into my left index finger. Thus the name STITCHES.
  17. This is one of my truck wips. Thought I'd try something different. Topher
