  1. I used some sprue goo to fill in some low spots. I'd like to do all of the filling and sanding prior to priming. One thing that helped me I think is the fact the bed is attached to the cab.
  2. I cut 5/8" out of the bed to fit the chassis. The razor saw came in handy for that. This is by far the most customized building I've done. I'll gladly accept tips/critiques along the way.
  3. I bought one of the AMT Coke '72 Chevrolet C 10s off Ebay. It was missing the engine and wheels, so it made a good candidate for a custom build. A friend gave me a '91 Lumina NASCAR kit, so I thought the chassis would be cool under the truck. I started cutting the engine compartment out, got down to the last 1/8" and the body broke sending my knife into my left index finger. Thus the name STITCHES.
