  1. John, it will be a beater. I don't think any two panels are the same color. The fun part will be the interior, there are no door panels or rear seat, just the inside skeleton of the doors etc. Billy, yes, I had seen yours, not yet sure out to pull off the weathering so it should be interesting. Thanks Bob, it's been a fun journey so far.
  2. Greg, I think it works because the hinges stand out from the body. Of course, it's not a '41 Plymouth and I think I can eliminate all the side trim. Whewww๐Ÿ˜…
  3. Perhaps, but it's not getting a Nailhead.๐Ÿ˜ƒ Thanks Brian, being they are straight I used a razor saw to make the first incision then widened them with a scribe tool. The bottom of the rear door I just followed the line of the fender.
  4. Games without Frontier because the internet is down again.
  5. Job One for Tesla next year better not come in with a bang.
  6. So, it may not appear that much progress was made this week but actually a lot of work happened while the world was sleeping. Our Tudor is now a Fordor. Almost looks too nice to have to give it the beater look now, but that is what I am committed to do. Need t do a bit more work on the corners of the window openings to add some curvature but I think we are pretty close. WDYT?
  7. Last fall while at America's Packard Museum in Dayton OH my reliable Sony camera started making popping noises and the flash crapped out. It apparently is a common issue which means the wire harness that goes to the flash unit has shorted out. You would think something like replacing the flash would be easy. Far from easy as you literally have to gut the whole unit. Found a YouTube video in Polish that describes the process, (sometimes you can find a useful video) and bought a new flash on amazon for $8.99. Been putting off the repair as it is quite complex but today I decided to dive in. The video is helpful although as it goes along it starts to eliminate some steps and it doesn't show you how to put the camera back together. Needless to say the camera survived the surgery and we have a flash once again. I think the whole process took about two hours. So labor wise I probably would have been better off buying a new camera. But I'm pleased that the camera will live to shoot another day.
  8. Superflyboy,that would be Superfly's son I assume.
  9. Now and that's the truth. (Where's Lilly Tomlin when you need her?)
  10. Brian, you could try the Revell '64 Fairlane chassis. Wheelbase is almost spot on.

  12. Gull wings are an idea Tesla took but if youโ€™ve ever tried to get into one of those things you have to watch out or it will knock you over.
  13. "Right Said Fred" (also written "Right, Said Fred") is a novelty song of 1962 written by Ted Dicks and Myles Rudge.
  14. Below the sea, the water's free, where you can swim and frolic and simply be, a happy clam, without a plan, until Monstro the whale stops by and just ruins your day.
  15. I could easily do that.๐Ÿ˜
  16. Button your lip and don't let the shield slip, take a fresh grip on your bulletproof mask and if they try to break down your disguise with their questions, you can hide, hide, hide behind paranoid eyes.
  17. I understand completely and the randomness makes no sense whatsoever. As a general rule I have it within a week of mailing so I guess it's taking the long way around the planet.๐Ÿ™„
  18. Button, button, who has the button, I would hope I did so I could hit it and turn her off.
  19. This is sort of a three day irk. Been having issues with our phones and internet in the office for about ten days now. Internet and phones would go out at random, not all at the same time but at different times. Internet speeds were down to a crawl and we would constantly be kicked off our cloud system. On the phones people could hear us and we couldn't hear them, no phone at all on individual lines and the like. Called Optimum and they said there were issues in our area that they were working on and it should be fixed in a couple of days. If we still had problems on Thursday last to call them back. Called them last Friday morning and made an appointment for this past Monday morning. Optimum tech came out on Monday and after spending two hours blamed it on the wire coming into the building. Said someone buried it. Wire was run by them along the base of the foundation and some mulch was covering it. I would hardly consider that buried. He replaced the wire and said all was good. Not so, afterwords phones were even worse and internet was still slow and randomly non-existent. Same tech came out Tuesday morning. Another couple of hours and he replaced our internet modem and consolidated our phone modems saying we didn't need them all. We had four in total, one internet and three phone, he eliminated one of the phone modems. After he left we discovered he mixed up some of our phone lines. Turned a fax line into a voice line and vice-versa. Easy fix as I just had to plug the proper line into the correct port on their modem. Internet worked for two hours. Wednesday morning we come in and no internet whatsoever and phones were acting wonky, two lines would light up simultaneously but there was only one call coming in. Called Optimum back and they said they would send someone out within half an hour. I waited around an hour and a half and no tech. I had to leave the office for a while so I hoped for the best while I was gone. Returned about two hours later and a different tech was there. We still had no internet and he was blaming our equipment. Said it was either our firewall/router or network switch. Well if that was the case I told him we should have internet if we plugged his modem directly into a computer. He agreed, we tried it and still no internet. So he replaced the internet modem again. Another hour passed, mostly with him on the phone with Optimum and he was still blaming out equipment. Had another modem I told him we can try, he simply said that won't work and he turned and walked out the door to his truck. Next thing I knew he was gone and now all of a sudden not only did we not have internet, we no longer had a network. He bailed because he screwed things up even worse. Yesterday morning I dug into the mess myself. Found their wire that connects their modem to our router was flaky. Not hard to figure out as the light on the modem kept going off. Replaced the wire and after that did a hard reboot of their modem and we had internet back. So apparently with all their mucking about either they did not see the faulty wire or they created the problem. So far internet has been running fine but we did have one phone call where we couldn't hear the party on the line. Time will tell if things are fixed. Sorry for being so long winded but i just needed to get that off my chest.
