Anyone esle seeing Revell models in the toy section of their local Wal marts? They are in the midway so I am wondering if this is just a Holiday "seasonal" thing or if maybe they are bring plastic kits back? Anyone know?

Rick very cool 32's. Rick I noticed your from Lawton. I am about 80 miles east of ya. Is there any good hooby shops out near Lawton? I was out there two weeks ago with a task force helping with the fires in the mountains but didnt think my fire chief would approve of me taking a brush rig all over Lawton looking for a LHS. The nearest one to me is 100 miles away in Norman. There is a Hobby Lobby in Ardmore but their choices are very liimited. Its mostly the internet/ebay for me. Nice to see another Okie on this (my only) conection to this hobby I love so much.

I know some of you remember the Revell series called "Street Demons". I built most of these as a kid, okay thats kind of a lie let me start again. I "tried" to build most of these as a kid. I remember them to be cool looking on the box but not so much after my attempt to put them to together. Fast forward 20 + years thanks to online auction sites I can again attempt to built these still very cool kits..... Now off to find another one...

I love the Red on Red look sweet build.

Barry You can go that way but I found that a good "black wash" does the trick as well.

I have this kit on the bench right now. I am going with the drag version though. I love the red on red color. I have tried to do red interior a couple of times - never seams to look right on mine. nice job! P.S. have any tips on this kit that I need to look out for? Thanks John

Welcome Will. I am a little south of you in Ardmore but I too know there has to be more modelers around here in hiding. I only have a Hobby Lobby around here but kits seem to disappear quite regularly. Once in a great blue moon I travel north to Norman to visit the Hobbytown USA. They do not have much for car modelers but but have a good supply of paints and other tools. -
I love this kit. Nice job.

By far my favorite engine ever put in kit form. I like your your take on it. Thanks for sharing. -
The top is perfect. How did you do it? What color is that red, and I too love those wheels what kit are they from?

Looks great so far. Not too long ago I did this kit box stock also. It went together great only problem I had was the black stripe decals on the hood and trunk would not lay down smooth. I loved the decals on the rest of the kit too much to strip the whole thing so I only did the hood and trunk. Looking back I should have painted the black stripes on. You'll love this kit it was a blast to build just watch out for those black stripes if you use them.

Hey Donald - just look at some of Cranky's stuff that always sends me to the work bench!!! -
I also am curious about the grill. Also how about the headers did you make them? I have a couple of projects they would be perfect for. Love the pick-up idea on this kit Nice
