  1. I'm really looking forward to the race tomorrow. I have always had a soft spot for Indy, having grown up less than 100 miles from there in Dayton. My dad, grandpa, and uncle used to go tt time trials every year back in the '60s, and when I got old enough they took me along. Will never forget the sounds and sights.
  2. Great choice. That car was revolutionary at the time, 1988 Pontiac, Buick, and Olds all went with their new FWD cars while Chevy soldiered on one more year with the RWD Monte Carlo.
  3. 63, but I don't consider myself very spontaneous I don't think my wife does either!
  4. Wow! I'm continually blown away by the skills showcased on this site, great work.
  5. That is really neat! Very convincing weathering, I like it a lot.
  6. Great start!
  7. Very cool! Great paint and foil work.
  8. Great model, clean paint and foil.
  9. Wow, I'm in. I've watched a couple of these on eBay but they always get too rich for my blood. I'd love to build one of these for something different.
  10. Can't go wrong with an iconic split-window. Nice work!
  11. Nice! Perfect color for the period. Were you accused of having an "old man's" car back in school or envied because you had a car at all ?
  12. Beautiful pair. Nice clean paint and foil work.
  13. Nice work!
  14. I could do without the "batman" paint scheme, but it looks cool otherwise. Neat concept.

  16. Thanks Art! I got the roadster kit earlier this year as well. Just checked out out your WIP and am impressed. I especially appreciate knowing ahead of time about the radiator/hood fit issues.
  17. Yes, came from the Ukraine, took 2 weeks. Got it for $39, free shipping. The "chrome" tree has a slight brass tint, I need to go back and look at some of Harry's WIPs to decide how to treat the pieces (if at all).
  18. Looks very nice! I've been debating on getting one of these, looks good in red. Foil work is nice and clean.
  19. I ordered this from eBay, showed up in the mail today. I haven't seen a review so I thought I'd post up some pictures. It took two weeks to get here from the Ukraine! Sturdy box, clear, chrome, and tire trees bagged separately. Not much wording in the instructions, decent parts count, very clean molds with no flash, faint parting lines. I can hardly wait to get on this one.
  20. I'm in for any and all they produce. Being a snapper I see as an advantage, these are all about the decals anyway
  21. Looks great. Bet those decals were fun!
  22. Very nice, great color.
  23. Cool, clean build.
