  1. Wow, that's a lot of work just so I could beat the carp out of them in the sandbox! My older uncle and I had a ton of these that we played with back in the 60's, sadly none survived our treatment.
  2. Very clean build, those originals really were "mini" weren't they?
  3. Outstanding paint! They both look great.
  4. Nice! What didn't you like about the kit? You need to clue the rest of us in
  5. Whoa, makes me nervous just looking at it Great model!
  6. Both are really cool! These things were everywhere back in the day, many looking just like that.
  7. Neat concept, great model. I really like the interior detailing.

    1937 Cord

Thanks everyone for all the kind comments. I really need to scrutinize more before I post, I didn't notice the gap on the chrome hood trim pieces until now - I'll have to fix that! And the top is not nearly as shiny as it looks in that pic, Harry. It must be the reflection of the flash?

    1937 Cord

The latest in my "classic" phase, got the Monogram kit off ebay. I'm pretty happy with it, the engine is more detailed than I expected. An iconic car that was so far ahead of it's time. Comments appreciated, thanks for looking!
  11. Love it. Great color choice.
  12. Nice!
  13. Depended on the track and the local rules. Around here they allowed a big slick on the right front only back in the day. 1/4 mile bullring at Thunder Road, owned and operated by none other than Ken Squier.
  14. Great job, and way to bring another into the fold!
  15. Nice work on them all! Now who could forget Rich Bickle?
  16. Nice work as usual John. I've got the Pressly car as well, always liked that color scheme.
  17. If that's your first foil job I'm extremely jealous! Nice job.
  18. Talk about a Black Beauty! Amazing work, and incredible photography as well.
  19. Nice save. Isn't it rewarding to see how far your skills have improved over the years?
  20. Great color and foil work. Another outstanding replica from your bench!

    Model T

That's exactly what I thought! John-boy, get over here and help me unload this wood. Nice work.
  22. What a great model! Excellent conversion work and neat back story. I love this type of build.
  23. Dude, I love the model and the outdoor lighting but you've got to get something to hide the dumpster!
  24. That is really cool! Any idea of the scale?
  25. Very cool. I wonder what they're asking for the Hudson?
