  1. Nice color combo, looks like you got the doors to fit pretty well.
  2. The cars vary from year to year and race to race. A Google image search such as you've done is your best friend. Then again, how much of the interior can you really see on a stock car when completed?

Great cars John, love the Rice Krispies car.
  4. Really cool model of a seldom seen subject. Great job!
  5. For some sick reason I like it! Nice clean building style.
  6. Nice work, great looking model!
  7. That's really nice, great work!
  8. Why not? We all have individual building styles, I'm sure we can learn something new.
  9. Outstanding! Very realistic.
  10. Wow, very convincing work. Great details and weathering, thanks for sharing!
  11. That was a great race, one of the best I've seen on a road course! It's exciting to see them go into a corner 2 or 3 wide, bumping and banging in a manner that open wheel cars can't. And the rain equalized the field as none of the drivers are really prepared.
  12. Really nice model. Love the fact you did a 6 as well as wrestling the body into submission.
  13. Very nice, great work on the wood and engine detailing. Great color!
  14. Very nice, I like the sidepipes.
  15. Thanks for the info. That's why I love this site, folks can point out things without being nasty about it. Not always the case elsewhere.
  16. Count me as another vote for paint. I think it's pretty difficult to polish plastic to look realistic, then you still have to contend with decals. For me that's the tough part on a NASCAR.
  17. 2 really nice Mopars, great work!
  18. Doh! Helps if you add pics before you post......
  19. So i was going through the stash the other night and came across this kit. I opened the box to find it 90% finished, all it needed was foil and final assembly. So 2 nights of foiling and here it is. The paint's a little rough but it looks pretty good on the shelf. Thanks for looking and comments welcome! (I know there is no outside mirror Harry, there wasn't one in the box )
  20. Very nice work! Love the colors.
  21. Brett is correct, it's been moving in that direction since the 60's. Basically IROC now with faux headlight and grill stickers. I still like it though. For me it's much more interesting than F1 where the winner is basically decided in the first turn of the first lap, barring a pit disaster.
  22. Beautiful, great choice of colors. Thanks for sharing!
