  2. Just wow. Loving everything about this build. So cool!! Steve
  3. I was sad to hear about Jen. Love her truck! Well done - always smile when I see those Boss 429 valve covers. Steve
  4. Love the engine bay. So clean and precise. Very nice build. Steve
  5. @BDSchindler Excellent execution. I like the rake of your B-pillars over the inspiration shot. Very well done! Steve
  6. Very nice car, and nice collection too! Clean build. Love the transporter by the way. Steve
  7. Wow! They so should have done that!! Just awesome! Beautiful color choices in and out. Steve
  8. Well, it looks awesome! A trick I use is to cover the car with an old model display cover while the paint dries. (In this case a Future clearcoat. If you look really close there are paint bottles under the body keeping it off the towel.) There are other tricks like remembering to wipe the car with lint free cloth before painting and not painting where your finished parts are. The real question is what is the next project? That was a cool build! Steve
  9. Thanks! I am going to try that on a future build - looks very convincing. Good tip. Steve
  10. So retro! Very cool. And very convincing, especially grill and headlights. Do you wash the headlights with black? They look super good! Steve
  11. Perfectly dirty! Awesome car - well done. Steve
  12. Very nice build - looks awesome! Maybe could recommend a lint free cloth dusting before pics? But it is just soooo hard to control dust. I might try to darken the spot on the back of the roof where the pink is showing through the carbon fiber, as gray or black is less obvious to the eye than the pink (AWESOME color choice by the way!!). The trick is to not make it worse, and sometimes that's a problem for me. Go gentle if you try something there. Sharpie markers can be useful in modeling, but again go very carefully - not heavy handed. From the pictures there's just not much wrong here - you should be very proud of your execution. Especially for your second model. Great stance. No stray glue. Clean, smooth decal work. Good glass work (no fingerprints inside the glass 😂). You have really good fundamentals here. In general I would say always strive to control dust and overspray when doing your paintwork. It still causes me (lots of) problems after 50 years of modeling. I have yet to do a "flawless" paint scheme, though there are folks on this board who do. Learn from them. Finally, just keep building. You will simply improve with experience. If this is only your second model, you'll be top of the game in no time. Just have fun!!! Hope this is what you were looking for. Great Porsche!! Steve
