  1. Great but what MeatMan said
  2. Man thats nice
  3. Finishing one up , with some time invested makes a nice display piece but by today's standards very crude.
  4. Wow I like it , looks great and very clean
  5. There was some tricky stuff to make it all come together and look half way right, The MPC tub as nowhere to mount it to this body was the 1st issue. The tail lights had to figure out how to get them to mount in the rear body panel to look correct, seen many builders not able to find a way to push them through so they looked correct. And them the chassis wheelbase didn't look correct using the one supplied. Took a bit to make it all come together. Not as good as Id hope for but good enough for a display car to fill a void.
  6. Love these 58 Bonneville's , got one also I need to get to. Nice color combo
  7. Like it a lot , looks good
  8. Digging the color , looks great
  9. Nice looking save , under appreciated old classic kits
  10. Very nice , I diggin' it
  11. I am in fact working on a 75 convertible as well as a 74 and 73 Robert . Trying to finish off my 58 to 75 collection of Impala / Caprice soft tops. None are being built for competition or resale but as something unique on the shelf
  12. Well Bob the body started as a damaged ModelHaus resin combined with a Monogram 65 convertible in like 2008 or 2009 , it was put away till last year when a bought a 66 Revel Impala for parts. Had the car too far along not to finish it out. If I was going to do it all over again today only the Revel 66 and a Monogram 65Impala would be needed. Didn't like the Monogram cv boot some ordered a resin for the AMT from modelHaus .. also the interior tub is a resin that came with the body. A don't do shows or any competition all my builds are just for my collection and display. Most all my builds are done as convertibles and most are done using distressed old build ups or promos. Think the 72 Chevelle is the only new out of box build I have done in years.
  13. '67 Oldsmobile Delmont 88 for sure but the Delta was a really awesome looking car too. Also 67 and 68 Buick Wildcats
  14. I did this one several years ago and it was the start of the Chevelle/Malibu soft tops so had to have the one that ended an era, BTY this one is due for restoring one more time
  15. Came out not so bad considering where and what I started with Ted
  16. Stated as a Hasegawa Kit and for all purposes only used the body and glass , the interior is from an original AMT 66 Bonneville kit I found on E Bay with the dash. There was no bucket seats and was about to order them from Modelhaus , had a tub from a 70 Bonni and while researching pictures of the 1:1 car I noticed the bench seats I had for the 70 was almost identical to those of a 66. Well that made my mind up to do a 66 Bonneville convertible with bench seats rather than the traditional bucket seat car. Being it wasn't an original AMT kit I wanted something unique. Used a chassis from a 65 Bonneville kit and as with all my convertible conversions the sun visors are scratch made to suit me. Hope you like it
  17. Just one more summertime cruiser , sorry about those mirrors , wasn't added when the photos was taken
  18. A conversion from a distressed Impala HT , hope you like it
  19. Something I started almost nine years ago , it got set aside about the time Revelle released their HT kit. Was something I wanted to fill a hole in my collection as a display piece . Nothing perfect just a build.
  20. I've had good luck with good old WD-40 you can leave it set for a few min. and most should come off the the 1st. round but you might meed to apply it two or three times to get it all. It works for me.
  21. Always been a short coming as far as Mopar go s after JoHan went by the way side , but Moebius has us one coming soon
  22. I've got the DVD original Gone in 60 Seconds and it was fine uncut and not modified
  23. Ya know Return to Macon County with Don Johnson and Nick Nolti wasn't bad , it had some race and chase footage that wasn't bad at all and another was Moonshine Highway it was really good to.
  24. Wow so many great old car chase movies and have many of them in my library , I would have to go with Vanishing Point with Bullit close behind . But they all were great
  25. Looks like a good move forward for Trumpter and I have my eye on the Ranchero they have on the way
