  1. Hey not bad , love the old school touch the colors work.
  2. After years of muscle cars and classic's I no longer have a place to keep them so my wife and I settled for a 2007 Dodge 3500 three years ago shown here and my daily driver is a 2001 F-150
  3. Love it Bruce , has that old school look and charm . My kinda build
  4. Great read, one of the best news articles I've seen in a while , thanks for posting it
  5. Good deal , thanks Steve . I've been wanting one for a while. I bought couple other from R&R with no issues but some where in the back of my mine I was thing I had seen a negative post on this one. Going for it and cant wait
  6. Just wondering has anyone ever built this car or seen it ? The 2Dr. HT version, not the 2dr. sedan. I remember seeing someone post a problem with the body at one time. Kinda wanted to buy it if the problem wasn't a big deal. But wanted to ask around 1st.
  7. Steve at the time it started did you by chance try a systems restore ?
  8. Steve sounds like you have something going on for sure , do you have a lot of stuff running in the back ground ? What kind of security are you running ? I could be wrong but sounds like you could have something you may not want in the computer. How many others are using your computer ? Like Harry said down load Foxfire for starters
  9. I do enjoy trying something new but if your not competing in competition makes no sense to go over board in some areas , but on the other hand if you build to compete then by all means take it over the top , I build to be looked at and to have it around for years to come with out tons of stuff falling off and becoming lost and the model becoming junk . Some of my kits I have had 40+ years and still most are still complete but in need of refreshing while just a few others have become parts cars . So the level of a build depends on many things , ones skill , ones money, and ones physical abilities are , and last but not least what is the purpose of the build. Bottom line do it your way and enjoy it , if you have deep pockets and more God given skill than the next man you are blessed , but don't down the next guy for not building at your level nor should we feel hard because someone has the money and skills to be at the top. Just do your best and dont worry what the next guy is doing. Happy Model Building
  10. To many times people forget its just a hobby and its great to see some take it to a new level , but not everyone is able to climb to the top for one reason or another . So take what you have and enjoy it as it was meant to be , I enjoy looking at a clean out of the box basic model just a much as a tricked out build. Model building is a small brotherhood as I think of it and we should never look down on anyone for any reason that is trying his best to improve his or her skills.
  11. I can only speak for my self but I prefer to lay the decals then clear , but I use a urethane clear and makes covering decal a breeze .
  12. It will also help to get a 69 442 or 69 Hurst Olds there will be many parts that can help to add some detail to that build , here are some are some picture's of one I have in the works.
  13. The 60 Impala comes to mind .
  14. Nice dirt tracker 1st. one I've seen built, shame when they repoped the 65 Olds they did leave an option to build it as stock
  15. With some imagination and a little mod work shouldn't be hard to build out of one of the currant kits , and wow you'll have one great looking model to add to your collection.
  16. After a few cuts early on I've learned to pay a bit more attention to where my finger are and the direction i'm cutting or trimming LOL. I know as soon as I reply to this thread I'm going to slip and break my run of luck
  17. Yes Kirt they will interchange you should have no problems. I have swap parts between the 64 GP and Bonneville a few times.
  18. Nice , is it ready for sales ?
  19. Rodger that 58 Buick is and eye catcher , those old station wagons bring back a lot of old stories and memories for some of us older guys , the back of those things were a play ground on wheels LOL. Love it man !
  20. Wow he did a really nice looking job.
  21. Brother you have good taste in cars , love the old Mopars. Looks like you came up with another winner . Nice looking Desoto

  23. Those would be great to see , the W-30 can be done now , I just about done with one now. Most of all would be that Grand Am My W-30 Rally Olds
  24. That is gorgeous , may I ask were to roof come from? I have follow your builds for awhile and they are always great
  25. Wow now that's low , I've had a 66 Sport Fury taken many years ago and know how this guy must have felt. If they are caught let they owner have them while they are still in cuffs . Remove the finger's and a few other body parts and I'll beat they'll never do it again .
