  1. I'm going to have to check the list of cars I have owned. But that does sound like a good idea.
  2. There is 2-3 contests in the Omaha area yearly. Shouldn't be hard to find someone to run it. One of the hard parts is already done. Finding the venue to hold it.
  3. Going by the bug-in style of car shows. It is all VWs. both air and water cooled.
  4. Bugs, would be cool. police vehicles would also. The Peking to Paris was IMO to restricted.
  5. Another idea, Wild and crazy. Build something wild and/or crazy for the cross country dash. Maybe a semi truck, or an APC. Sky would be the limit.
  6. With the joint venture of The Model Car Museum and the Museum of American Speed. Could we see a new Model show/ contest? I sure can. I have been to the MAS for their fantastic Cars and Coffee and toured the museum. It would be a fantastic venue for the basis of a possible new GSL style show. Thoughts? Tim
  7. I would go for either wagons. Or maybe 4 doors or long roofs
  8. I am wondering if there has been any discussion on the 2026 Cannonball run CB? Tim
  9. I would love to see photos of what I missed. I was in FL the weekend before. Tim
  10. Tony, any word on dates for the 2026 shows? I would love to venture back for some. (I need to finish one though, LOL) Tim
  11. I am wondering if the cottage company called:The Last Detail is still around. They did some great detail decals. I picked up a set for the Revell 66 GTX and 66 Coronet. They had the decals for the radiator support, air cleaner, gauges even for the Mopar oil filter. I would like to find them and see if they had other sheets for my current projects. Thanks Tim
  12. Anyone know if The Last Detail company is still around. They made great detailing decals. I've gotten the 67 GTX and the 71 Roadrunner sets from them. Tim
  13. Gary, I fear that all the time. That my 22 month old Sheltie won't get to any of my projects. So far he hasn't. Tim
  14. I picked up a set on Ebay. Was looking for a set for project I am doing. By the looks of them they were from a kit. Don't have any idea which one. Tim
  15. I would take a LTD. I would like to see a 1969 Plymouth Fury GT. Then I could do the 69 Plymouth rapid Transit System. Tim
  16. Thanks for sharing. Some beautiful models. Tim
  17. It was Hart's parts.Thanks. I do have one of the Jimmy Flintstone Venturas. I just need to see what the major difference is between the 72-73 and the 74. Tim
  18. I am looking for a cottage company who does conversions. I picked up a 71 Challenger conversion kit for the AMT 70 kit. and a Super bee kit for the AMT 1971 Dodge Charger kit. For the life of me I cannot remember who/where I got them from. I checked my Ebay and paypal and nothing comes up. I am currently looking for a 1974 GTO conversion for the Nova kit. Thanks, Tim
  19. FYI, shapeways is no longer hosting sites. so, any link with shapeways is bad. Tim
  20. This list needs to be changed. There are a lot of bad or no existent links. Tim
  21. Looks like a lot of progress is being made. By every competitor. Tim
  22. Heck, yeah. I love wagons. Have 2 1:1 scale. 71 Buick Sportwagon and a 2013 VW Sportwagen. Have a couple 1/25 scale wagons in progress. Maybe I'll dig out one of those. Tim
  23. I am looking for a better detailed chassis for a 1/25 AMT Challenger I am working on. Anyone know of a better chassis? I could use. I don't have the time or patience to do as a friend did once. Spend 40 hours on the Johan Sox and Martin Cuda chassis. Making a perfect replica. Tim
  24. I would be up for one of each. Tim
