  1. Nice build. You got the seat cloth right!!! What year? A buddy of mine had an '85. He put both of us into a barrier. It was never the same. Again, nice build.
  2. Hot Wheels anyone? Love it!
  3. I HAD to look when I saw the subject. As folks have stated, not something you see every day. Again, I like it!

Top marks. 1st prize. Grand prize. Super clean. Beautiful panel lines. Tires are gorgeous. Color looks period correct. I wanted one in high school. Awesome build!
  5. Love it! Super cool presentation.
  6. Cool car. I want one! Nice clean finish, well done.
  7. Cool restomod. As stated the stance is perfect! The engine bay is a treat. I just wish the metallic paint had a better scale. You've got a beautiful finish, don't get me wrong, but the flex in the paint to my eye is to large. Super build!
  8. Miles per gallon or gallons per mile? I really like the two tone. That's a keeper.
  9. My grandfather had a Galaxy. "Floor it Gramps, floor it!" Nice build.
  10. Nice clean build. Not a fan of the yellow, but it suits the car. Really nice panel lines, the tonneau roof is spot on, and the engine bay the gem you want to see when you pop the hood. Super build!
  11. @4knflyin If you followed Top Studio's instruction to cut the front bulkhead, then remove 1 mm or so of material from either cut end. The replacement Top Studio plate pushes the nose forward making fitting the nose to the cowling, the most important joint in the model, impossible. I also had to shave the interior of the nose to seat properly. Thankfully the underside of the nose is black and can be easily brush painted. Best of luck. If you have question, I'll do my best to respond!
  12. Looks like its time for a new build. If I can find a Ready For Inspection section on the site I'll post the glamor shots in that location. Thanks for looking.
  13. Say goodbye. Most of this will never be seen again. Sniff, sniff. I did have to take the floor off after this pic. The orange aero parts in the rear suspension was not seated correctly. Thankfully it all went back together without incident. I'm working on the punch list. I realized I still have to add the Top Studio "braces" from the engine block that hold the floor. That's some fiddley work.
  14. Floor work: I decided to put a few laps on the floor. For the most part I'm pleased. Exhaust manifolds installed (finally!). Tamiya provides a temporary part to set the height of the exhaust tips. They line up perfectly with the floor. The floor has since been installed. I need to get a pic! Cowling decals: I gloss coated (Zero 2K) Friday evening. It was not without issue, so sanding and polishing will be required. While waiting for this to cure I've compiled a punch list of work to complete as well as bit to fix. The O2 lines to the exhaust manifold are proving to be a PITA!
  15. Sorry for the delayed response. Formula Perfect (period track photos) had them. Keep it!
