    That page is from Rod & Custom magazine’s “Model Cars Past and Present” series by Bob Wingate. He had over 1,200 dealer promos back then. You can find more about his collection in other Rod & Custom issues from the mid-1960s.

    Initial D is a classic for car lovers, and Senko-san’s a chill choice you don’t hear often.

    There are already three races in the US, and I think this number is sufficient at the moment.

    I would add MPC to the mix, especially for their wild customizing options in the late 60s and 70s. Their clear instructions and consistent 1/25 scale made kitbashing much easier.
