  1. As an update, I'm sad to say the spray cans will NOT be available until around Christmas. But look for Hot hues in stock soon. Thank you to all those who have visited the new site, it has been a much bigger success than I had even hoped for. Jameston
  2. I have to pitch in one of my favorite car movie lines of all time. "They were adiosed by the kid in the turbo." I know it's obscure, but I bet a few of you know it. Jameston
  3. No Cadillac to hitch it to the back of. OOB Revell 427 Cobra. The paint is a match from a project my dad had done to his 67 impala. It's really close to the new Ford Velencia gold. Thanks for looking. Jameston
  4. IMHO the pic of the dumptruck with the matching paint color on the dump body and the cab looks great. I would build something like that. Jameston
  5. Good luck on the build. It might be a tough one, LOL. Seriously. That is very cool, I love that car/movie. Check out http://www.licenseplates.tv/famous_license_plates.php for a good, clear, detailed picture of her plate. Are you going to paint her the ford color or a Plymouth red? Jameston
  6. Remember those BMW films? The devil (Gary oldman) says that Marilyn Manson "Spooks me out... He's weird." LMAO That would be a killer car to build. Jameston
  7. Seriously? That is unreal work, but to get kicked out of the club. I love it! Jameston
  8. I'm with Ed on this one. Jameston
  9. I love builds like this. I found this on http://www.928registry.org/Risky-Business-928-Excellence.htm none of the four 928s used for the production of Risky Busi-ness exactly match the car as it is actually portrayed on film. The cars present a mix of years, wheels, transmissions, and original colors -all similar yet slightly different from one another. RB 928, as portrayed in the film, is a 1981 Platinmetallic 928 with a five-speed manual transmission, offset "Phone-Dial" cast alloy wheels, a gold interior, and Illinois State license plate tag number N2Z 264. And the primary 928 used for filming in real life was a Platinum Metallic 1981 928, but with an automatic transmission, flat-face 15-inch "Phone-Dial" wheels, a brown dash, gold seats, and a non-reflective prop Illinois license plate, number N2Z 264. Hope this helps Jameston
  10. At least he offers free shipping. LOL.
  11. Thanks for all the comments. The Oro Chiaro wasn't my first choice for the color. (Ferrari purist stop reading) It was going to be the new Dodge GoMango with the black wheels. I already had the wheels painted when I got the gold in stock, so I decided to go with it. I MIGHT chrome them with Alclad II. The chrome would probably set off the gold paint better. Look at how good those wheels look on that 612. I love that car Ismael. Jameston
  12. He should be proud, those are clean builds. What glue kit is he building? Can't wait to see it. Jameston
  13. Here is the first Enzo ever seen in Oro Chiaro. Actual Ferrari color, and the best looking gold color i've ever seen. Tamiya OOB build. I liked the kit, although the fit of some body parts were a bit off. Jameston
  14. Cool! But now I'm going to have to buy 20 of them. Jameston
  15. I would say that it's painted Palm Beach Tan In 1936 cord only offered the following colors: Cadet Grey Polychromatic IM-1671 Powder Blue IM-1669 Cigarette Cream IM-1664 Redwood Beige IM-1673 Cool Orchard Green IM-1670 Rich Maroon IM-1666 Ganges Green IM-1672 Thrush Brown Dark IM-1668 Palm Beach Tan IM-1665 Thrush Brown Light IM-1667 I know for a fact that Cigarette cream is little more yellow than that car. Jameston
  16. Of course I want your car on my site, I was going to ask you about it, send me some pics. I'll get them posted in the gallery, and use one on the Porsche page. Thanks. Jameston
  17. I tried the shadow idea, and came up with one good shot of my custom 911. Thanks marcos. Jameston.
  18. I just knew that was going to be one fine looking automobile. That color photographs like ######. I have a car painted that color, and every picture of it looks black. Love the car. Jameston
  19. How about a Gulf sponsored porsche? The R8 or 550 would also be cool. Jameston
  20. Scalefinishes.com is almost open. Official opening date is August 22nd. (you can order, but the site is not complete) Due to the success of my Ebay store, thanks to several people from this forum, I have decided to make the leap and try this paint thing in earnest. I have have been working on getting a few new items. Spraycans lead the list, but are a HUGE investment and will take some time to get. I will carry them though. I am also trying to get some custom colors. So far Dupont Hot hues (www.hothues.dupont.com/) looks like the colors I'll carry. If anyone has any other items they would like to see me carry LET ME KNOW. Thanks Jameston
  21. The flat hood is available from http://www.afxnscaleresin.150m.com/resin_hoods.htm. I believe they also have the correct wheels. gonein60seconds.com has a rundown of all the modifications that were done. Jameston
  22. I'm dying for that as a kit. Did you see the first one sell on Barett-jackson for a million Dollars? It's going to be painted Lemans blue and will be only one offered in that color. Amazing Machine. Jameston
  23. Thanks guys, I had no problem at all with the kit, Fit and finish were beautiful. The wheels and tires do look a little out there compared to photos of the real car. Oh well, Fun kit to build and good looking when it's done. I like it. Jameston
  24. I would be interested in topper #4 if it would fit the 99 Silverado kit.
  25. I've had this car for over a year without tires. (None came in the kit.) Thanks to this forum and gregbbear I got the tires and finaly completed this build. OOB Revell kit Scalefinishes.com Ferrari Roso Formula one paint Jameston
