  1. Thanks for all the positive comments. Makes me want to build another! Steve- I just messed around with the shock placement until I had the right ride height. Tony- You are correct Sir! It's way too clean. I need to add dirt, tire marks etc. and some paint scuffs.
  2. Hey all! This was my favorite kit-bash projects. I combined an AMT 67 Chevelle chassis with an AMT 58 Edsel Pacer body. There were a few fit issues, but I got them worked out. Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.
  3. Hey all! I previously posted my "First Car" a '71 Chevy Nova. I was thinking, what if... my Nova ended up as an Oval track racer? The body is from the AMT Chevy Nova "Old Pro" kit. The Chassis is from the AMT '65 Chevelle Modified Stocker kit. I made my own custom decals. This is how it turned out. Comments welcome.
  4. You NAILED it, Bob! Fantastic detail bumper to bumper. Excellent job on the photos!
  5. Great concept and execution Eric!
  6. Yoshimi-Fantastic paint and detail bumper to bumper! I love NASCAR and love Dale Earnhardt (Iconic). Thank You for a great build!
  7. Here's a few more photos of "Tinker Toy". Thanks for your comments.
  8. Hey All! I originally posted this back in 2020. This is a tribute to my cousin who was my main inspiration in building models. Mike, along with two brothers as partners, put together this '69 Camaro. It was more of a hobby than a career. Hence the name "Tinker Toy". My cousin hand painted the "Tinker Toy" graphics. For my build, I custom made the graphics and also small sponsor logos (Fram, Hurst, Accel. etc.). Mike pasted away in 1997. Thanks for looking. Comments welcome!
  9. Awesome job on the Vette Rich! Great photos and background.
  10. Jim- Those are some sweet rides! Very clean! Did you keep them? It would be hard to give up those classics. Scott-It would be great to see more Novas and/or your Z/28!
  11. Great job on the paint and detail! I'm a Chevy guy..But, I love Chargers! My favorite is the "General Lee". I watch a lot of "Graveyard CarZ"
  12. Bart-Nice Mustangs! Great job on the model! I'll bet you wish you still had that car.
  13. Hey all! A few years back when many companies release Chevy Nova Kits, I decided to replicate my first car. I purchased a "Jimmy Flintstone" resin body and rally strip decals online. At the time AMT came out with the 72 Chevy Nova SS (Old Pro). This was used as the donor kit. Although my car was not a 72 or an SS it was close enough for my project. My Nova was a 1971, 350 ,2 barrel, 3-speed, single exhaust. In 1972 gas was about 36 cents per gallon. By 1973 it jumped to 55 cents per gallon. At that point a lot of muscle cars went bye-bye. I wish I still had my first car. Hey gang, what was your first car? Comments welcome.
  14. Thanks for the positive comments, guys.
  15. Speechless here! May I have more sir?
