the story: So after arriving in iraq a few weeks ago i quickly learned what war looks like. Buildings being destroyed, people crying over the dead, inocent people dying everyday. It can simply be discribed as hell on earth. i started asking around to find out if rommel was spotted here. I went to a U.S. Army base and got permission to be in the radio operation's room to listen if there was a sighting of rommel and where the location was. A few months went by and just when i was feeling hopeless there was a disturbance. A marine unit was escorting a V.I.P. out of a hot zone when they were ambushed. The radio operator was calling for help and said they were pinned behind enemy lines with a unknown amount of bogies. The general was rushed into the room and told the drone operators to get some eyes in the sky A.S.A.P. after about 15 mins the UAV was over the fire fight. The convoy was ambushed in a werehouse area with the trucks in the front and back destroyed. Enemies were in every building surrounding them. tThe general ordered a evac and support from a apache. As the air support left all anyone could do is sit and watch. The general asked what they had to use. The radio operator replied A .50cal machinegun, mini gun, assult rifles, and a javalin. The general said to keep the V.I.P. safe at all costs. 20 mins went by and the air support arrived the apache leveled a few buildings and provided cover fire as the pavelow landed. The enemies who finally met some force retreated before they all died. The marines loaded the V.I.P. then went through looking for intel and servivors. After about a hour of looking they found a folder with pictures of the area. As a private lifted up the folder there was a loud groan followed by silence. We heard the commander say "take cover" Then on it's loop still the droan caught a huge burst of rubble from one of the destroyed buildings. We heard "open fire" as the dust cleared slowly we saw a outlining of a fast moving vehicle. the apache started firing the 30 cal but to no prevail. It then used heat seekers but nothing. The pavelow operator told the side door gunners to open fire. Now two mini guns, a .50cal machine gun, a .30cal cannon,and a various amounts of assult rifles all fired at this vehicle. I shouted thats him.......THATS ROMMEL. the general looked at me and ask "are you sure son?" . I replied "as sure as i am standing here sir". The general got on the radio and told everyone to get the hell out of there. All the marines started getting in the pavelow as the apache covered them. The pavelow lifted off as rommel stopped his vehicle. The apache still firing on him he looked up at the apache and raised his hand. Then he slammed it down on his dash and the apache lost all power to its engine and crash landed. The pavelow hauled ass out of the area as the general radioed the apache. The apache gunner told the general the pilot was K.I.A. After about a min or two of the general and the survivor going back and fouth about the situation the gunner started begging " no.......no......just let me go...........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" then there was a gargling sound followed by a demonic voice saying something in german. There was dead air from that point on. The general aske "just what the f... happend and what did that bastard say". The operator at the back of the room said "sir he said your next". No one knew what was to come soon. The build Got the weathering started on it finally lol

sick. the detail is awesome and the over all build is amazing. this aint a hollywood wanna be rat or anything else its straight up a rat rod. 1:1 scale builders should take notes on this one

thanks for the good words guys but i tried it with the bigger wires from the monte kit and i didn't like it at all. i like the low mean look it has on these wheels and the others would have lifted it and made it look bad to me.so the little 15's stay on it thanks for your opinions though.

Is this kit any good? i seen it and thought of buying it but the last caprice i got had no detail under the hood and thats my favorite part of building a model is the engine.

i know exactly what your talking about bro. i sat down at about 8:30pm and started to finish up my 32 caddy. When i looked at the colock again it was 6:30am. i was like . but after all the caddy was done and i got another build started so i guess its mission complete. but i always look at the clock or my watch now so it never happens again lol.

Ok so this was planned to be a low low but rather then doing that and making the ford fans mad i decided to do a lowrod style build with it. heres what it'll look like close up on the paint color trunk setup (this was the smallest and hardest trunk to work with interior is done already minus shifter,E-brake handle,and steering wheel its gonna looksweet when its done theres some work needed to tuck the rims under the fenders but that should be easy to do by shaving the back of the rim mounting stud.

dude i have alot of caddies 59 caddy hardtop 59 caddy vert 59 hearse (ecto 1a and ecto 1) 59 ambulance 64 hardtop hearse conversion 64 vert 90 caddies( lowrider and donk) 02 cts-v and a 66 hard top coming from one of our neighbors up north and none are up for trade or nogotiations bro sorry

yeah i've only seen ps2 controllers and ps2's in the dubs and amt merc kit. I guess the modeling world hates XBOX as much as me lol PLAYSTATION WILL SOON CONTROL THE WORLD just not today lol

this is awesome. i seen a couple custom computers/cases in my life and its some good work that goes into these. The best one i seen was at a custome shop and it had 1:24th scale hoppers in it that everytime you moved the mouse the cars hopped and lit up. And yes all of them were cadillacs LOL.

got the rims for the hearse plans for the back dont know if i should do a full bench, half bench or keep it with the hearse floor
