MCM #146 December arrived!
RodneyBad replied to RodBurNeR's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
LHS called me yesterday that it was in and one on hold. Picked it up today and they only had One left on the rack. Stashed it for somebody else.. Then proceeded to leave my copy at work.. Any whoo. Get well Gregg. -
WOW!! The paint looks Awesome on it.. Great job..
-
Very Cool looking Challenger Love the color and the wheels and tires look great on it..
-
Well I may not be too happy about the prices and the give and take pieces. Or much interest in this kit right now. Soo. I'll just be happy with one of each style box.
-
Not alot of work done but some more Bodywork Slash cut Injector tubes? White walls. Maybe Wire wheel hub cabs for the rear?
-
Found a few off of CL this weekend. Good deal too. The 71 GTX has PE parts and engine put together nicely with Pre-wired Dist... And a Suzuki Swift R/C car. claims to be 1/28 scale but it does look bigger and it was Cheap. Besides, it's a Suzuki Swift.

I don't know what it is But I love the looks of a Good Black and White paint job. Should be a law that 90% of all Police cars must be Black & White. (unless uncover of course) Too many Sneakie Petes around my Area.. Looking great..

gonna be a Good looking hobbie room for ole SKWILRY. Just on a side note, Aren't you missing a vapor barrier for the Exterior walls? Been watching alot of Holmes on Homes. -
Paint and Interior looks Great. Oo, the fun with DieCasts. First pic looks like it just came from a chop shop

Still looking great. Nice flow thru tail gate and tire rack. I think the Mufflers look too big. maybe some smaller ones? AMTs Pro-street RoadRuner/GTX had some smaller Flowmaster looking ones. This is the way they were on my 1:1 (yes, the T-case is placed wrong but too late now. LOL.) I believe 74 was the last year for a divorced T-case. 75 and Up were married..(mine was a 75) http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23234&st=0&p=211804&fromsearch=1&#entry211804

Jada Durastar Rollback.
RodneyBad replied to MICHAEL COLE's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Big Rigs and Heavy Equipment
I found one today while out and about working at a Diecast store 50 miles from home.. i haven't seen them go for less than $30 yet. BTW: I picked up a spare. -
It's been awhile since I have gotten anything but it has been worth it. My Friend Bob found me a 1/20 scale Suzuki. Well, parts of one but the Major part is there. Being I don't have anything 1/20 scale that would work for parts, I found this at my LHS. And to my Surprise, it came with a Set of Desert Dogs that Satco use to sell and has a set of wheels that Actually fit.. Yaa Whoo. On a Funny side of that, The Aoshima 1/20 scale LandCruiser came with a 1/24 scale figure?? Same size as the ones that came in the Monogram Nascar kits of YesterYear.. I would have took better pics of the tires and figure but the Cam Bats just Died..

Tire looks Great. Now if the hole will fit a AMT wheel, we're golden.. -
Good looking Challenger. Paint looks good. I see the new Revell kit builds of nicely.. Nice work. Hey George, it might be your settings or sumting?? Maybe in your Top ToolBar there is a View option and the ZOOM is on Large? I don't know, I aint no PC expert at all or could be because I have a 32inch monitor? That I had in a dream once.. LOL..

Satco Update - 3Rd Tire Added
RodneyBad replied to cnaind's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Tires are looking good. One more size Bigger, 3rd from the right Down sized to fit an AMT wheel would be much needed and can always be opened up easier than downsizing.. Thanks for the work.. -
That is one Duesy of a Duesenberg. Now that is a Upper Class HotRod. Fabulous Craftsmanship.. Ya got the Midas Touch..
-
Very Cool.. Great work.. I Love it..

I guess you could only do it Free Hand. What Control.. Great work. must've been hard not to smuch up an area during handling it during the process.
