  1. Color looks great. Don't worry too much about covering up the engine. That has been a standard in some hotrods these days and even new cars.. I like the mesh grill. Like to see this one finished. No rush of course..
  2. I'm still kicking my self for that one. It was just the cockpit of the Mercedes (doors in the open position) wood flat bed and Roadster front end. Dang, Dang, Dang....... And for the race, I think the Mopar might get it in the 1/4 mile but wouldn't be able to slow down for the turn, let alone make the turn..
  3. Thanks, I did what I could and I learned more after I was done. Better to take pics when they are all there and not here and there and there. I missed the Mercedes Gull-Wing RatRod
  4. Don't look at me, I'm just passing along what I saw. There wasn't much for notice but at the LHSs (?) It did make it into a Local Magazine (so I heard when I got there) I am not a member (but was 8yrs ago) (Meetings 1st Sunday nite of the month too far out and late for me) I did take what pics I could and posted them. There doesn't seem to be a way to get a hold of a member with out Mailing (snail mail) Or making it to a meeting. Since I am local (only PDX'r here) I'll pass on what info I find. Next local (not) one I know of (not put on by SABA)is (was) Puyallup Washington. (3hr drive? driving a wee bit fast?) Never mind, You washingtonians get to drive above 60mph
  5. I wouldn't even try that trick. I have as many HotWheels as models.. Or as many Models as HotWheels.. LOL.... (I've lost count) But they take up much less space and are Far cheaper.. Except when they're rollin around my desk. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
  6. Buy As cheap as possible Never sold anything at a garage sale. All Buyers are Cheap.. I have a load of 1/18 scale Die-cast I wish I could unload but there isn't much for buyers of used ones. (I think)
  7. I want to say real but something just aint right. So I Think Model of an OCC bike (saw that one)
