Here's my little GTO finished in HOK ketchme kopper pearl. I think it sits a bit high, but it is what it is.
  3. I didn't get it yet, but I won an AMT Ice Cycle on ebay. Plans call for some kind of engine in the ice cream cooler.
  4. Terrific looking build.
  5. Super build.
  6. Amazing details and so SHINY :)
  7. Sweet & SHINY :)
  8. Welcome Baptiste.
  9. Thank you fellas.
  10. Thank you Ira.
  11. Thanks Chuck. Nope - no rust.
  12. Thank you Ron.
  13. Thank you guys. I didn't notice front fender. Maybe a little wet sanding will correct it. After the frame was painted, I did some cutting to get the front end lower and set the front axle too far back. Michael - I use Duplicolor primer only. This particular model has the grey sandable primer as a basecoat. I use Nason SelectClear.
  14. Finished my Phaeton today. Paint is HOK deep lilac pearl. I built one of these a couple years ago as a highboy version and decided this time to go with full fenders.
  15. I see. thanks Felix. The bottom looks as good as the top.
  16. Very nice. Did you split the exhaust manifold to get the dual exhaust?
  17. Great concept and SHINY :)
  18. Your choice on the trim. I think either will look good.
  19. I rode out to Phoenix in 2000 for Arizona Bike Week (GREAT time). We out somewhere, maybe Tombstone, when a quick shower hit us. Almost immediately the road we were on flooded and we had to pull over and stop. The group leader, a local, said something about an arroyo fills up pretty quick with rainwater and sends it down to the roads.
  20. Love the stance, color, details, and the SHINY :)
  21. We refinanced a few years ago when rates were real low. So low that we converted a 30 year fixed mortgage to a 15 year fixed mortgage and we've been paying the higher amount. We're real close to something neither of us has ever known - NO MORTGAGE.
  22. We don't have "branch pick up" down here. I either send sticks, leaves, etc. through the chipper or toss them into the woods next door.
  23. Have you thought about calling the school board to complain, Harry?
  24. Excellent. I'm going to look for another kit and stuff some kind of engine in it.
