  1. Thanks Cody. You're way behind - I posted the Ice Cycle over a year ago.
  2. Thank you guys. And thank you again Larry.
  3. Thank you Terry. Very interesting pic, Harry. Thanks. I'm going to leave the hose alone.
  4. Thank you Danno.
  5. Thank you Al.
  6. Thank you Bob. It's not as easy as I thought to build factory stock.
  7. Thank you John.
  8. Thank you Jake.
  9. Removing the manufacturer imprint from the bottom of the chassis.
  10. Sweet and SHINY :)
  11. Through some kind of magic, my cell phone is connected to my truck's radio without wires. If a call comes in the radio turns off automatically, I press a button on the steering wheel and answer the call. Pretty cool magic. I don't text even when I'm not driving.
  12. Thank you everyone.
  13. Thank you, Al. And thank you again. I used HOK chrome yellow followed by a coat of Nason 2 part clear.
  14. Thanks fellas. Mark got it right about the plate, Ray. Vietnam Service Ribbon. I served with the 1st Battalion, 13th Marines as an artillery forward observer 1969-70 in Vietnam. The plate is my way of telling people I served. Those who also served know what the ribbon represents and look for me at model car shows. When we meet, we're able to tell each other "Welcome home".
  15. Nope. It's a show I can watch and be entertained without having to think how it will end.
  16. No problem Lee. I appreciate your advise. I can never get teensy little pieces of BMF for door locks to stick, Harry.
  17. You're right, Lee. Have to go with flat black. Thanks.
  18. Thanks Lee. Think I can get away with just a black wash?
  19. Here's a first for me - a factory stock build. I just don't know what came over me.
  20. I agree with the interior. Mine is going to be a street machine and a whole interior would have been nice. I don't care for the delicate parts that make up the front suspension. By the way, a small block Ford engine fits in real tight.
  21. Finished a build today (will be posting under glass soon). Bought all the materials I'll need (I hope) to make the former rear seat in the baja bug a storage unit and flat shelf. Other than that, I'm getting ready for pizza, pool, popcorn, and WWE Friday Night Smackdown. In short, absolutely nothing irked me today.
  22. Looking good.
