    The V28

I think I finally get it - it's supposed to resemble an airplane. Right? Pretty cool build.
  2. Looks good in SHINY :)

    1969 GTO

Thank Tom. The kit had parts for a '68 & '69. I stripped the chrome from the rear bumper and cleaned the holes for the taillights. I might remove the vent windows. They look too bulky.

    Thank you Ira.
  5. Same from this end Jesse. I'd be happy to trade again.

    1969 GTO

Thank you Lee & Chris. They're all fun builds, Chris.
  7. Thank you AL & Paul.
  8. Thanks John. Engine is so tight I had to grind out the wheel wells and find block hugging headers. A 1:1 with that engine would fly.
  9. So far 1 3/4" of rain. It was coming down in buckets this morning. More thunder out there now so maybe more liquid sunshine on the way.

  13. Crazy Scale Auto Parts has the Arden heads also. Part # V13.
  14. Looking wonderful. I love the interior.
  15. Anxiously waiting to see your tutorial.

    1969 GTO

Well Scott, I once used a stop watch to track my time on a particular build - never again. There a '49 Ford on my bench that's in it's 3rd week of work ('57 Chevy headlights, '57 T-Bird taillights, radius & flared rear wheel wells, and more). It's requiring extensive body work and that takes me time. I also have a '40 Ford pickup with a VW bus where the box was. That one has been on the bench for several months. I posted 3 builds in the last couple of days but they were completed, pics taken, and sat around a few days before posting them.
  18. Thank you Larry.
  19. Thank you all very much. I like the garbage truck.

    1969 GTO

Thank you all so very much. Scott - I'm retired. Most of my mornings are spent on the computer and/or working in the yard. Afternoons are in the shop building models. Until 5pm when I come home for cocktails. Harry - the air filter was shot with Alclad. I guess I should have put a wash on the filter portions.

    1969 GTO

Thank you Ray. I always have 3 builds on the bench at any one time. A custom '49 Ford is kicking my butt right now so it'll take longer than the garbage truck and Wagon Rod.
