I think it came out pretty good, Carl. I don't go to any other forum so the wood painting tutorial must have been posted on this forum. Irwin Arter, Jr. did the original tutorial.
Here's another one I finished today. It's painted in HOK nova orange and features 4 bucket seats with a console inside, front & rear rolled pans with custom lights at each end.
Here's my '37 Ford SD that's painted with HOK spanish gold over a stratto blue basecoat. I chopped the top 1/4" and shortened the body by 1" (whatever that comes out to in scale). The sides looked too bare so I added some half round Evergreen to give the body some lines.
